Reception staff were very friendly. They changed our rooms to another due to last customer check out late and room wasn’t ready. Only complain is that the rooms are facing shopping mall and needs curtain always closed to maintain privacy.

Although it is located opposite Taichung park , there are not many dining options around this area . It is a walkable 15mins to Yizhong night market . The breakfast is decently good . However the room lightning is very bright and not like a normal hotel

Good to stay in Holiday Inn Taichung Park
We have stayed at many Holiday Inn worldwide. Never have they disappointed us. We stayed at 11th Floor in Taichung Park branch. The view is great. The staff were nice and friendly. The breakfast place are fantastic. We were very happy to stay with Holiday Inn again. No doubt.

It’s very near to the bus station to travel to QingJing Farm and Sun Moon Lake. Also, walkable distance to eatery and night market. The beds are comfortable and the room is spacious for family of 4 to stay in. We had a great time staying in Holiday Inn Express Taichung park.

Don't expect anything but a nice room!
The room was clean and good sized. If all you want to do is sleep and shower, the hotel is very good. Front desk service was excellent. I was checked in less than 2 minutes! The restaurant was terrible unless you are Taiwanese. Basically, no Western selections for breakfast. I never went back for any other meal. There is a Starbucks in the lobby, but for some strange reason it doesn't open until 11:00 AM!

The fire alarm went off they didn’t say anything to help people know what was going durning or after. Useless staff and poorly managed hotel.

Very comfortable and clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Great location as it is walkable to local restaurants and shop and only about a 10 minute walk to a night market. Great stay!

Decent hotel, next to the Taichung Park and not far from Taichung Station. Not the super convenient location as I prefer busier place so I can eat and browse till late, but you may be different. The location is quiet at night with a couple of convenience stores nearby.

A very nice hotel near Taichung Station
Staff in are very friendly, in particular in the Reception. Fast check-in and checkout. Unfortunately (to us), the restaurant was under renovation while our 5-night stay and the buffer breakfast became breakfast box delivered to our room. But it is lucky to check in after renovation. Easy to travel to any places inside or outside Taichung City. Overall, I have very positive feedback to this hotel and am happy to stay in this hotel again.

Nice hotel about a 10 minute walk from Taichung station. A bit far from all the touristy places in the city, but the front staff were all very friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Nothing too special about the breakfast, although it would’ve been nice if they had some more local foods to try. Overall, I would recommend this hotel!
