“2nd Home in Taipei”

Great staff. Very flexible and eager to help. Hotel has laundry facilities for diy. Housekeeping offered to deliver our clothing from the dryer so that we could go out and enjoy taipei. Even packed a breakfast box for us when we had to leave before their service started. Very nice room. Awesome showers, comfy bed. A little bit of a hike from the MRT but taxi is very affordable.

“Small hotel with great service”

The Ambience is a relatively small hotel that does an excellent job of catering to its guests. Hotel desk-staff are friendly and helpful, in-room amenities are very good and location is fairly convenient to city-center attractions.

“Taipei Secret's”

Ambience Hotel Taipei is in an ideal location of the town. It’s next to great seafood restaurants and only 5 minutes via Taxi from the Taipei Train Station. Staffs are friendly, free internet and breakfast sold us on this hotel.

“Excellent Boutique Hotel with lots of Ambience”

We really enjoyed our stay at Ambience. The rooms are very contemporary, clean and quiet. Location is 10 minute walk to the MRT, which is further than we would have liked, but cabs are not expensive and the MRT is easy to get to and easy to use. Lots of restaurants in the area. Enjoyed having a cd player with a cd of music and able to play our ipod. Not enough time to use the DVD player and TV however. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Most staff members speak excellent English and are eager to please. Breakfast buffet combines Asian and western items. They set up a little afternoon tea with juices, tea, pastries and cookies that is very nice too. Great place to stay.

“Great stay - very happy”

I stayed at several hotels in Taiwan and although not the star rating of two other hotels, this was my favourite. Staff were super courtious, friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a good location with easy to access to MRT (metro) stations; I was able to walk to the nearest in 10 mins. Room was great and entirely what I needed. Breakfast was good and WiFi worked all the time. Thanks for a great stay

“good for price”

Good breakfast buffet, but seating limited. Room clean and nice, hallway was not - apparently not enough room for storage. Was only there for a weekend so not too knowledgeable about surrounding areas, but seem to e close to many good entertainment options (when I had time). Staff very nice and helpful.

“Freindly and helpful”

“Wonderful!”

THe hotel was great! So clean and nice. Spacious for a city hotel room and a great looking room to call home for a few days! Can't wait to come back to Taipei and stay there again!!!

“Suma”

The hotel is located in the big street, but it is not noisy. Insulation seems to be good (not so common in Taiwan). Bed is comfortable, linens are clean, bad room/shower is clean, staffs are friendly and speak English very well. Staffs supporting in getting transport to train station. Breakfast is pretty standard, but good quality of local food.

Area recommendations
