Outstanding service at the DandyPosted Nov 16, 2013
Pros: Great service
Cons: The laundry services although free, were a challenge to use as all the guests wanted to use them at once.
We stayed at the Dandy for a few days and enjoyed the accommodations, the food and the staff went out of their way to make sure our stay was memorable. I would recommend it as a good place to stay. It is a 20 minute hike to the Metro but otherwise was a good location.

ExcellentPosted Nov 11, 2013
Pros: Overall cleanliness, nice staff, pretty good breakfast buffet.
Excellent hotel. Staff were incredibly nice and nothing was too difficult for them. I would recommend to anyone. It is a bit far from the nearest metro station but if you don't mind walking everyday then this is the right hotel.

Not to be missed!Posted Aug 18, 2013
Pros: Modern, well equipped room (free wireless, USB connections etc)
Location: Close to Taipei centre
I've never before stayed at a hotel where the facilities are so good and the staff so helpful. It was a most enjoyable experience.

The Dandy Hotel is the greatest!Posted Jul 23, 2013 on Hotels.com
I can't say enough good things about the Dandy Hotel, its staff, and the experience as a whole. I would call it a boutique hotel experience, stylish, immaculate, great attention to detail and guest comfort. I stayed two weeks, and. I would definitely both stay again and recommend it to friends.

Good hotel, excellent staff but poor locationPosted Jul 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
Had a hard time locating the hotel because the hotel is located in a quiet lane. The taxi driver has to call the hotel to confirm the location. However I must say the hotel staff were very attentive and helpful. The bright spot of this hotel. Room is ok, not big but comfortable. Suitable for couples. However because of its poor location, need to take taxi everytime of you want to go out.

Nice base for exploring TaipeiPosted Jul 1, 2013
Pros: Definitely the staff
Cons: Room size
We spent six nights there while touring Taipei and nearby on our own. Our room is quite small, with hooks on the wall rather than a closet for hanging clothes. However, it is very clean and very well maintained. The hotel is not within walking distance of MRT, but close to buses which run frequently. The best part of the hotel is the staff - exceptionally helpful and cheerful. Additional free features include nice breakfast, both wired (bring your own cable) and wireless internet, and help arranging taxi for all-day tours. Overall, good choice if you want comfort rather than luxury, and don't mind not being close to MRT.

Modern comfortPosted May 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
Located away from central Taipei but easy access made by many buses from main road around the corner of hotel. Train stations about 1 mile away so often got a bus for 30p or a cab for £2. Hotel facilities great including free use of washing machines and dryers, excellent free wifi and HD tv films. I think these benefits and a larger room offset the away from central location. Customer services fantastic

good service!Posted Feb 23, 2013 on Hotels.com
hotel is rather far from zhishan mrt but there are several buses available near the hotel that can bring you to taipei main station, jiantan and shilin. I arrived at 10am but the check in time was 3pm, the staff offered to keep our luggages till check in time and gave us a very useful map to help us get around the area. the hotel is near sogo, dayeh takashimaya, eslite and many convenient stores. the service was good except for one day that the cleaner left a wet cloth on the sink counter and took away the toilet paper. the room was very nice and spacious, one of the nicest rooms I have stayed in. the toilet was separate from the shower area which made it even better. the variety of the breakfast was wide, and free used of their washing machines and dryers were available. If transport was easier, i would definitely come back to this hotel.
