Nice hotel with friendly staff

Posted Jun 20, 2014
Very friendly and attentive staff. Good choice of food for buffet-styled breakfast including vegetarian options. Slightly far away from Taipei Metro (15-20 min walk or 5 min bus ride). Nevertheless, it is quiet at night. There are parking spaces on-site and a 24 hour convenience store next to the hotel. Highly recommendable.

June 2014

Pros: Staff
Cons: Exchange rate for currency.
Outstanding throughout the week I was there. Great staff and great living conditions. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Taipei. Only one tip: change money elsewhere; hotel gave 2700 NT for $l00 and normal rate would have been 3000 NT. Felt this was excessive but still recommend the Dandy Tian Mu. Having a strolling violinist one morning at breakfast was unique.

Terrific! Tianmu is a beautiful part of Taipei. The staff is remarkably hospitable, the breakfast delicious with its Western and Asian options, and the facilities very clean and comfortable.

Dandy Hotel Taipei Tianmu Branch

Posted May 7, 2014 on Hotels.com
Hotel cleanliness is very good. Staff service from front desk, houskeeper, f&b crew and security guard is excellent. Sound proofing of the rooms are not excellent but light sleepers should be able to get a good night rest. Only drawback is the location of the hotel. The nearest MRT station is a 20-30 minutes walk. Public buses are 10-15 minutes ride to the MRT. The frequency of the buses are limited in the evenings and Sundays, average 20 minutes wait. Apart from the location, it is an excellent hotel to stay.

Nice Boutique hotel

Pros 1) Comfy beds & clean room 2) Helpful, detailed and courteous staff. Helpful porter 3) Good choices of breakfast for that price 4) Nice designs of interior deco 5) free wifi & able to use computer to print out boarding pass 6) washer and dryer available next to the lobby area & comes with free powder detergent. 7) bed-room slippers and mineral water are replenished daily 8) Area map is given. Bus stop is nearby too. Cons 1) A little too far out to shopping areas. However, near to shilin though by a bus.

Small hotel in convenient location

Posted Apr 26, 2014
I had a sweet, quiet little room in this small hotel. The young staff were extremely friendly and helpful to me. The famous national museum was only a 10 minute cab ride away, and there were a number of inexpensive restaurants in the neighborhood. I would definitely go to the Dandy Hotel again in the future.

A most enjoyable stay

Posted Apr 21, 2014
Pros: Clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Free Wi-Fi and breakfast buffet.
Cons: A bit more choices at the breakfast buffet, if that's not too much to ask :)
Location: 2 major department stores for those who love to shop. Small park for children to run around and play. A traditional market with much local fare.
I had a most wonderful experience staying at Dandy Tianmu. It's clean and comfortable with a friendly staff. If you prefer to do your own laundry, there is washer and dryer with free soap. Bathrooms are up to date. Cleaning lady is swift and thorough. My room came with the free breakfast buffet. It's not meant to match the kind offered at 5-star hotels but has all the basics, which was good enough for me. It's a small hotel so it's quiet at night. Neighborhood is safe (with a school nearby) with many restaurants to choose from and convenience stores for supplies. I was there for 4 nights and there was not a night I didn't go to sleep thinking I had made a good choice. I hope your stay will be just as memorable as mine.
