Great Hotel. Good locationPosted Dec 1, 2013
Pros: As Above
Cons: As Above
Location: As above
I stayed at this hotel as a solo traveler for a six night vacation in Taiwan. The hotel was well located, a short walk from the MTR in a very pleasant and safe area with easy access to seven-eleven stores and many good value restaurants. The frequent, fast and cheap Evergreen airport bus (every 20 mins or so) stops outside the hotel (outside the 7-11 to be precise). My room was really spacious (by far eastern standards), modern and well kitted out. My only observation here is that some more drawer space for clothes (undies, t-shirts, running shorts etc) would have been nice. The Gym is well equipped and the staff really helpful, letting me use the business centre to print my boarding pass and make a local call on my behalf (both for free) were nice touches. Breakfast was excellent with a wide range of choices. I do not hesitate to recommend this Hotel and I woul stay here again, without hesitation, if I return to Taipei.

Upgrade if you have the chance!Posted Nov 10, 2013
I've stayed at this hotel twice. The first time I received a free upgrade to a suite. The suite was laid out a bit oddly, but the amenities were top notch. Large bathroom with his and her sinks, Jacuzzi, and a sizable shower. The last time I was in the standard room. While it was still quite nice, it was very small. This small size is not unusual in Taipei; however, it was almost a 3rd of the size of the suite. The bathroom was very small. If your a business traveler, the standard room should be fine. If you're out with a loved one, I would highly recommend the suite.

Service second to nonePosted Jul 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
Have stayed in many hotels around the world and can honestly say that the Laurel Evergreen had 5 star service all the way. Get the Deluxe room if you can as it is substantially bigger than the basic and has a spa bath. It was well worth the money.

Pros and ConsPosted Jul 21, 2013
Positive:- 1. Great location, Starbucks just round the corner, 7 eleven just next door and the bus stop to the international airport just right outside 7 eleven. super convenient for travelers. Porter even carry the luggage for me to the bus stop. Superb! 2. Room is spacious. Bedding is very comfortable. 3. Complimentary fruits and two bottler of water on arrival so no need to rush to convenient store immediately. 4. Provide free access to wifi and computers are available at the ground floor. Printing and copying facilities also available. I was given complimentary printing for my boarding pass. Awesome! Negative:- 1. Staffs are polite but I don't feel very welcoming from the front desk. 2. Limited TV channels

Nice hotel: Great location and servicePosted Jul 20, 2013
Pros: The price was very reasonable and it included a great breakfast. The service was great and every staff person met us with a smile and greeting.
Cons: Keep up the good work.
Location: The location was great as it was in central Taipei City and a 5 minute walk to the MRT.
We initially reserved this hotel for our first night only and were scheduled to stay at a "nicer" hotel for the rest of our stay. After spending the first night at Evergreen we decided to cancel our other reservation and stay at Evergreen for our entire stay.

SO GREAT!Posted May 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
Our stay was so GREAT! I love it. What more can I say. That's why I am giving a perfect score. By the way, i want to emphasize (aside from the good qualities which have perfect ratings) the hotel is a 5-min walk to mrt station - Songjiang Nanjing and the bus to and from the airport is just nearby the hotel. Another thing, we were upgraded to a Superior suite for free (so huge about 80sqm). Thanks to the management!

Excellent Service & Quality HotelPosted Mar 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
Very friendly & efficient staff. The room is also very spacious, comfortable and extremely clean, so that is really nice. In fact we wanted to go back and stay another 2 nights after visiting Taichung & Sun Moon Lake, but the price was much higher so had to give it a missed and stayed another hotel. Will not hesitate to stay again the next time if we visit Taipei.
