Small but very good hotelPosted Oct 10, 2014
Pros: The friendly staff
Cons: Almost everything is good
Location: You dun to worry about getting hungry, because there is a 7-11 nearby with few others stall which sell local food which is highly recommend.
It is a very small hotel but you will love the comfort of the room, the cleanness and the hotel condition is tip top. The staff are very friendly and helpful in every way.

Nice experiencePosted Oct 4, 2014
The hotel room is nice, clean and comfortable but the bath room is abit small. The staffs are friendly as they offer suggestions on places to go and help to call the cab on our last day.

Comfortable home in the cityPosted Sep 27, 2014
Pros: The staff were polite and helpful. We were well served and felt very at home. The hotel is in the city and many tourist spots are within walking dist
Location: We can have the delicious soy milk, saobing and youtiao in GwangHua market in the south and several parks including the HuaBuo in the north.
The staff were polite and helpful. On our arrival, the only staff took our rain coats away to dry, gave us 2 maps and highlighted sites around worth visiting. The hotel was renovated a year ago and hence all the facilities are new. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the aircond was quiet. The bathroom is small yet we can bath without wetting the floor. The breakfast was simple yet very delicious. The food was targetting at the Japanese tourists and soup and vegatables were served. We enjoyed the stewed eel in one breakfast and mapuo tofu in another. Japanese coffee was self-served throughout the day.

Great service but...Posted Aug 4, 2014 on Hotels.com
The noise at night from the neighboring bar made sleeping for light sleepers difficult. An otherwise great place with a good location.

A little gem in TaipeiPosted Jun 2, 2014
Though located in a slightly dodgy neighbourhood, Ginza Hotel oozes pride and class. By class, I don't mean luxurious décor and facilities (this, after all, is a very reasonably priced hotel) but simple elegance, excellent cleanliness and staff who serve with tremendous dedication and pride. They seem to treat each guest as an honoured guest in their own home, constantly offering service beyond the call of duty and greeting you warmly. Three examples of their exceptional service: 1. They answered all my touristy questions very patiently and attentively. 2. Though the laundry room is supposed to be self-service, the young lady happily offered to wash and dry our clothes for us at no extra charge. 3. When another young lady found out that we had to check out at 5.30 am to catch our early flight, she realised that we would miss their usual complimentary breakfast and made special arrangements to have a sandwich and drink prepared for us early. The complimentary breakfast is yummy and healthy, with a nice range from bacon and eggs to steamed vegetables to miso soup, French loaf to vermicelli to rice. The location is also excellent, very central. Just a leisurely 10-minute walk to Zhongshan MRT station, which is just one stop away from Taipei Main Station, from which you can also take the high-speed rail to just about any region in Taiwan.

Feels just like home.Posted Apr 15, 2014
Pros: Service Excellence.
Location: The hotel is 'surrounded' by the easy access to the Metro stations (closest would be Zhongshan North) and bus stops for guests.
Do not be fooled by the run-down outlook and the '1 floor only' feature of the hotel. From the time you check in, the level of hospitality and service that the service staff provided was impeccable. Frankly, it was far better than any other "4 star"/"5 star" rated hotels that I have been in. The level of service that the receptionist and staff provided was truly one that felt like home coupled with true professionalism. If you are unsure or in need of anything, there would never be a hesitation to approach them. They would explain in micro-details of how to get around and even recommend certain locations to get to!

Excellent Service but hotel building is oldPosted Mar 28, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel occupies a portion of the 4th floor of an old building. Building entrance and lift significantly lowered the class of the hotel. However, customer service is excellent, helpful and we feel welcomed. Breakfast is good. Room well declorated with very good wifi connection and air conditioning but really too small even we stayed in the luxury room.

Service StaffPosted Feb 2, 2014
Pros: the staff and the location of the hotel as it is near the shopping area and famous food stalls
Location: near many shops , shopping centres , foodstalls , train stations
The staff at the front desk were exceptionally good and helpful. They were extremely efficient and went the extra mile to fulfill my requests as much as they could. Even though the building where the hotel is housed in is a bit older , the rooms are very clean and comfortable.
