Room was clean. But the number of charging points are few. Toilet bowl is near to wall. Not much space. Breakfast was good. Staff quite helpful. Many shops nearby. 20mins walk from train station.

Great value for money, very convenient, great staff services. The room was cleaned, good room cleaning services. It was very nice and heart warming for the staff to provide wind oil for mum and extra hungers. It will be great if they have elevator to restaurant as it's at basement, inconvenience for elderly to climb up and down.

Great for a short stay, good price. I gave my room the nickname Dracula room, because the bed look like it's from a castle and the ceiling had a coffin design and the TV program included two free adult channels. The staff was super friendly and helpful, always got up from their chairs, when I dropped off my key. Good deal in a central location.

This is an older property but, reasonably well maintained. The rooms are very small by US standards most rooms do not have a desk and the thermostat is very difficult to read 12' off the floor on the nightstand, no instructions. The bathroom floor is very slippery and needs additional safety strips when you get out of the Tub. Overall I would give the property 3 1/2 stars out of 5 and would probably stay there again.

Good service, friendly and helpful staff.
Good location, the room is reasonable size with all that you would expect from a mid-range hotel. Their staff is very friendly and speak influence English. Free parking but the parking is not in the hotel, there’s a five minute walk from the hotel to be parking. Overall a good stay of you’re after comfortable place for you Taipei visit.

Free Landry facility is a great plus for long stay especially during the summertime. Hotel is old but clean; the location is great for accessing High Speed Railway, Taiwan Railways, and various MRT since it is located within 10 minutes walk from Swang Reng Station.

Decent Enough
The hotel is located about a 7 mins walk from the red line which made it easy to visit sites such as Taipei 101 and the CKS Memorial. The room itself was a nice size for me as a solo traveler. Breakfast is free but I found it upset my stomach so I only had it 1 day and then opted for something else. I think the hotel is also a love hotel on certain floors/rooms. This didn't really impact my stay except for my last night. I left the hotel at 4AM to catch my flight. I left the room to find an odd, older European man wandering the floors. Thinking it was someone trying to work off their insomnia, I kept walking towards them/the elevator. When I passed he turned to me quite suddenly and whispered, "I am different." I was quite glad I was leaving that night! Cleanliness is alright, I did find a cockroach wandering the room on my last night but perhaps that can't be helped.

Overall Okay Stay
The hotel was in convenient, safe location. The room was nice and clean but small and little dated. Despite the fact that we reserved and requested a non-smoking room, there was an old smell of cigarette smoke in the room when we walked in. I reported it to the reception but was told that there were no other rooms available during the dates of our stay in the hotel. Besides that, the washroom was clean and breakfast was good.

Basically, the overall service of this hotel was okay except a counter lady who surprised me while she answered my questions, situation was as below; Q: Hi lady, do you mind tell me about the bus station around? She replied right the way " Don't know, I never take bus!" Q: The MRT station is quite far away from your hotel... She REPLY IMMEDIATELY ; "YOU CAN TAKE TAXI!" How do you continue the conversation if you were I ??? Can anyone tell me?

A Pleasant Stay
I stayed at this hotel for three weeks while attending a language program at Shida. Overall, I was very pleased with my stay. Especially the staff, they were always pleasant and professional. The breakfast was also good enough for it being free every morning. My room was kept clean and tidy by the housekeeper, and the amenities in the room were pretty nice - a TV, a desk to do work on, a full bathroom with a shower, a fridge with bottles of water, a electronic kettle with packets of tea or coffee also restocked daily. The only not-so-good part was the bed mattress, which was as hard as a rock. Luckily I don't have any back problems, but if I did, that bed definitely wouldn't have helped. The area around the hotel was also a nice distance from everything you need. It was only a 5 minute walk from the closest MRT station, with plenty of restaurants and street food stalls in-between. Overall, I'd recommend this hotel for people on a budget who want a nice, clean place to settle for a few days.

Lots of food stalls and morning wet market nearby. The home cooked breakfast was superb for this budget hotel. Well done. Will definitely come back again.

Make the best out of using airport shuttle
This hotel is close to the airport bus routes. Be sure to ask the staff how to get off and get on, because coming in and going out are two different route. The location is not very close to the subway station. So knowing how to use airport bus arriving/ leaving the hotel is very important. Seem like most people coming to Taipei city center are using airport shuttle.
