Affordable rates from expedia

I had a wonderful stay in Hotel QUOTE taipei for 4 nights and I have been recommended for an upgrade from U room to O room with additional 20Sgd per night. O room is much spacious, good for big luggages to open up and the room gives an intimate and private feel and best for couples (as their toilets are open concept) With the upgrade, we got compilmentary use on the Osim products in your room! I managed to get the Osim leg massager and I used it everyday after walking and shopping whole day. And definitely, I love the concept of free lounge access to their snacks, drinks and computers for 24hours and complimentary minibars, nespresso, ipod docking sound system and of course, not to forget about their toto toilet bowl washlet. Although their breakfast is not as fantastic, it has enough variety considered for international breakfast. The service attendants are very attentive to your needs and will answer to all your questions raised. There is a restuarant and bar at the 1st floor, great for drinks but they close early like at 12am. Also I love the location of the hotel as it is near MRT (around 7mins walk), very near to the Taipei arena (if you want to catch a concert) there and also most of the banks. (Great for foreign money changing)

Nice hotel for business travellers

Posted Apr 2, 2014
Pros: Location and well designed rooms.
Cons: Rooms have smalls windows with limited or obstructed views.
Location: Great food in hotels nearby which include Chinese (Taiwanese), Japanese and Western restaurants (Outback Steakhouse, TGI Friday, Starbucks, etc.)
Hotel Quote is a novel concept targeted to business travelers. It offers a convenient location in downtown, close to many restaurants and easy transportation.

Holiday with adult family

Posted Dec 3, 2013
Pros: BEST thing about the hotel was the service, especially the manager Kenneth. Nothing was too much trouble and all the advice spot on. Thanks Kenneth!
Cons: The rooms were quiet and secure although the lighting was a little too dark and the only window above the bed was tiny.
Location: The location was great since there was a MTR close by, and great restaurants in walking distance - Steam Boat, Dim Sum etc... just ask Kenneth!
I was on a four day family holiday with my 3 adult children (26 - 32 years) and daughter-in-law and we all loved our stay here. Just as advertised, we were in a U room with a Nespresso machine and complimentary mini bar. The concept reminded me of the Camper Hotel in Berlin, as there is a 24 hour community room on the second floor. The hotel is well priced with a delicious Chinese and western buffet breakfast included. I would definately stay there again, we all felt like it was a home away from home.

Great hidden gem in the city

Posted Oct 30, 2013
Hotel was conveniently located in the city it's quite cheap to cab to a lot of areas. If otherwise it's a 5 mins walk to the nearest metro station. Staffs are friendly and are eager to help. There's free massage equipment for loan which is quite useful after a tiring day outside.

The staff is very nice and helpful. I was booked the room type U, but they upgraded our room to type T. The room interior design is really unique. If you are searching for a special hotel, i would definitely recommend this hotel.

Not so good

Posted Sep 26, 2013 on Hotels.com
It is so dark, like a love motel. Service is good but the surrounding is a mass due to heavy construction right outside the hotel. Not recommended for family and business stay.

Comfort away from home

Posted Sep 12, 2013
Pros: Great service, courteous staff.
Cons: Personal preference of brighter "white" lights in the room rather than cosy yellow lights.
It was a very comfortable stay at the hotel. Fantastic, courteous service staff and efficient services rendered. Daily refill of fridge drinks that's included in your hotel bill and lots more freebies at level 2 lounge 24/7.

Mixed Feelings of Hotel

Posted Sep 6, 2013
Pros: The staff are very pleasant and the location is great. It's just a 5 minute walk to the MRT with lots of stores nearby.
Cons: Cleanliness could definitely be improved.
I just returned from a 12 day stay with Quote. I arrived very early in the morning (5:30 AM) and there was no one at the front desk. After waiting for 5 minutes my driver actually went looking for staff in their basement and called someone up. Check in was uneventful although this was the first time I had to bring my own luggage up to my room. I had 2 suitcases and they were obviously a little heavy for the young lady at reception to take up for me. I had originally booked a 6 day stay and had to extend my trip. They would not match the price I paid with Expedia which was very disappointing as other hotels in Taipei were willing to do this for me before. The staff were very attentive to my needs and were always polite and tried to make my stay pleasurable. Some staff even went out of their way to make sure my coffee was made exactly the way I like it every morning. The hotel seemed very well maintained but I found the rooms very dark. Perhaps this is the design of the hotel but there should be at least the option of turning on more lights if needed by the guests, especially if they're offering rooms which offer windows but with no sunlight. Rooms were kept clean but for the standard which the hotel is looking for it could have been better. My only really complaint is that their beds are extremely soft. For those who are looking for back support I wouldn't recommend this hotel. Overall, it was a nice modern facility in a convenient location.

Very Convenient

Business-wise is perfect. Besides the fact it is a little dark inside its premises it is just perfect. Very clean and good service. Breakfast was excellent.
