Rooms are nice and large and the pillows were great! The only negative was that they no longer serve or include breakfast with the start. The description on Expedia needs to be updated.

Most the of things are good, except: 1. Wifi really slow, quite often disconnect or load nothing 2. A/C too cold, the vend is right above the bed, can’t sleep well if turned on the A/C

The electric pot in our room wasn't properly cleaned. There were still some water inside the electric pot. Good location. Very near to Sonjiang Nanjing MRT station, side walk eateries, Family Mart and 7-11.

Great little hotel, very convenient
This is a well-run and reasonably priced hotel. Our room was comfortable and clean. The bed was great-- nice pillows. The place in general is a little worn but well cared for. And the staff was exceptionally nice and eager to help out with little things. Definitely include their breakfast when you book; it is worth the small added cost. Also, the location, near the Songjiang-Nanjing metro station is super convenient for getting almost anywhere in Taipei and there are banks, retail stores nearby and plenty of great places to eat... also a night market a few blocks away and the Yitong Park half a block away is a nice place to sit with a coffee while people of all ages play, exercise or just hang out.

Excellent and friendly staff!
My recent trip to TW , staying at the Happiness Hotel were great! The staff at the Hotel was excellent and the front desk clerks were so helpful with our needs and questions, even with our language barriers. I've shared with friends, they/i are looking forward booked rooms there soon. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast.

Friendly staff. Close to subway and bus stops.
The staff was friendly and helpful. Good breakfast buffet with different foods every day. Located close to the subway and bus stops. The room was clean. My only complaint is the shower had some mold. Overall, I would recommend this hotel and hope to come back again.

Nice concept - once upon a time
Location in central Taipei, Nightmarket closeby, four-faced Bhudda temple closeby. Airport buslines closeby. Sleepy, Kind of helpful staff. Great guests lounge downstairs, good selection of newspapers/magazines. Rooms interiour nicely furnished. Also the elevator shaft nicely decorated with a plastic flowers garden with waterfalls. All aged. Good for a business stay-over.

Great location, spacious rooms but worn out
Location is fantastic- 7 eleven, family mart convenience stores are around the corner. Shongjiang Nanjing mrt exit is just 2mins walk away. Lots of cafes around and all sightseeing places within easy access. Taipei main station was 10 mins away by cab. The room itself scores on the spaciousness of the rooms for the price we paid. And the staff are able to speak English and were helpful. However the rooms were very old styled a bit worn out and we even spotted a cockroach on one occasion.

1. The best thing is the location: close to MRT and the MRT station can reach most of the attractions within short period of time. 2. The hotel has some smell of new renovation 3. We could feel the hotel was built in an European style. However, it was not maintained well 4. The TV wasnt functioning and there was bugs in our room

Nice hotel one block to subway.
Plus: 1.One vegetarian restaurant in front of the hotel - can't ask more than that for vegetarian. 2. Nice conference room with tea or coffee available. So we had meeting with friend over there. 3. breakfast is good, including variety of vegetables and fruits makes easy for vegetarian. Hot soy milk is great! 4. Friendly and helpful staffs. 5. Need better direction for clients - how to get to the hotel because the entrance of hotel is one way street. I have several friends leaves in Taipei could not find the street to get to the front of hotel. Also my Taipei friend told me that when he typed the Chinese name of the hotel in search he could not find the hotel. When he typed the address.of the hotel it showed up a different Chinese name. Please check it out.

Staff is cold and unfriendly. 3 bed room is exactly the same size as 2 bed, just super cramped because they left all extra end tables and such piled in the corner. Not horrible, but very, very meh. A/C is good, bed was ok. Just very old and well past its prime.

The hotel is so inflexible and inhuman. I cancelled my trip due to my passport expiration problem but the hotel did not allow any change of date, cancellation or refund. They are so fixed like stone.

I have had two bookings overbooked and then shuttled to a new hotel in Taiwan. It seems there is too much delay between the online information that online booking agents have compared with the hotels own records. So I recommend when staying at any hotel in Taiwan that you make sure after your booking to make a call to the hotel and do your own confirmation. This is the practice of other online booking companies in Asia but Expedia doesn't follow this practice because maybe in the US and other countries the electronic booking is more reliable.

2-night stay with family. As reviewed by other travellers befote, the hotel is very convenient (5mins from MRT). The hotel has been renovated, but some rust can still be seen on the roof and washroom). Anyway, it is not as dirty as the previous travellers mentioned. But the quality of breakfast has to be improved. I spent TWD $6200 for a night stay (holiday), which honestly is not a cost-wise stay for this hotel. Overall, this hotel is still on average.

Have you been to TW before? Know you way around Nanjing E. Rd? Then this is a fine place to stay for the price. If your a first timer to a new country- it might be a lil off the beaten bath for you. The breakfast is ok- for a day or two- If your staying for a week you will find that it gets a lil redundant.

古き良き台湾の雰囲気があるホテル。 床はフローリングでサービスも調度品も高級感があり、総じて満足度は高い。 ロケーションとしても近隣に飲食店の選択肢が多く、バス地下鉄含め交通の便もよく使い勝手が良い 今回はビジネス用途のため部屋からの景観に関しては割愛させていただく。 ただ、泊まった部屋には湯船が無くシャワーのみだった。 自分の確認不足だがそこはマイナス点。
