Can't believe at how others had rated this hotel, but service by the hotel is unbelievably prompt, friendly and helpful. When we first arrived and found that our towels were tinted and ask for a change, it was quick. Front desks even printed out what bus to take in order to go to places of interest. Wonderful people.

Although the accomodation is stationed in the "Red-light" district rated by the locals, the place is well maintained and room service was good. Only downside is that there is no big rubbish bin outside the room for each level, if you are intending to take away food and bring back to room.

Great Hotel. Will Visit Again.
The service at the hotel was amazing. All of the front desk people were very accommodating, especially Queena (I think her name was). They were friendly, cheerful, and very respectful. The room was nicer than I expected. It was very clean. Bathroom had a bidet, a nice bathtub, and was very clean. The hotel is right in the center of the city. It is near a nice park, some great restaurants and bars, and 10 minutes walk from the subway. The breakfast that comes with the room was chinese style. It was okay, not spectacular, but free drinks are offered at any time in the lobby (there is a nice area to sit).

Very "homey" just like it's name
Smaller hotel but has everything you need plus self service laundry and daily tawainese breakfast. Staff was great and extremely friendly and helpful.

Great hotel with lots of places to eat nearby
The hotel is very comfortable with free Chinese breakfast, individual room wifi, free washer/ dryer outside, and free water and beverages in a mini-fridge outside. A Toto toilet with a fancy warm water bidet. The room includes free video on demand. The subway station on the Red line is within walking distance. The front desk and cleaning staff was also exceptionally friendly and helpful. All in all, a great experience and a terrific value.

Perfect!
I had a very nice stay at Homey House. The receptionist (Queena) was super nice and spoke English really well. The room was extremely clean, comfortable, and easy to get to from the Zhongshan MRT. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Taipei!

They prepared a birthday cake for me on my birthday, what a big surprise to me!!! Their staff is very nice and helpful. I like their home-style breakfast very much. Pity that there is no fridge in the room.

Great surreal experience on our wedding anniversary, staff spoke little English but arranged for cake decorated our bed cooked us breakfast held umbrella for us in rain and so many little things which made us feel and wonder were we looking for English speaking staff or are we looking for human touch care and warmth ?? I definitely change my view based on service provided exceptionally talented staff

Excellent place to stay in Taipei.
This place is better than expected. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The premiere room we stayed in was perfect for two and the free water and beverages was a plus. The bidet was a really nice touch. A nice surprise was the free wifi, not just in the hotel but in the whole country. All you need is to go to a visitor center and get a free login for free wifi at most public areas. Will definitely stay here again.

The hotel staff was polite and friendly. They have a unique toilet with the heater and cleaning toilet bowl. However they don't have a fridge in the room but a common fridge share within the level. The walkway is not air conditioned hence there is a stuffy smell even in the room. It is walking distance from mrt however a little far. They serve differnet breakfast daily however doesn't suit us. But not to worry as there are many restaurants and food stores and malls where you can shop anytime which bring convenience.

Overall fantastic stay at the Homey house! Super friendly staff. Endless Snacks & drinks. Close to the MRT as well as to the drop off for the airport bus! Very comfy Rooms!! Would definitely recommend this hotel! And if i'm ever in Taipei again i will be sure to return!!

Enjoyable and comfortable stay
Double room is very comfortable and larger than the norm for this grade of hotel. Has most facilities except for mini-fridge. Take note that sound insulation is not great as you can sometimes hear people in the next room plugging/unplugging into the wall power sockets. Would definitely return to stay.

We love this place due to its very friendly and helpful staff comfortable rooms with all necessary equipment and great location. Breakfast is a freshly cooked fixed menu of great quality. There is no choice but it is very original and we found it delicious. Don't expect a luxury hotel, the rooms are fairly tight, but it is an unbeatable price / value ratio.

We stayed at Homey House for 4 nights. A large breakfast was provided each morning and the staff were all very nice and accommodating. The rooms are very new and clean, the air conditioning was perfect (not too cold, not too hot, not too loud). Complimentary toiletries, snacks, and bottles of water were complimentary and rooms are turned over daily. It's a bit awkward that the bathroom have glass walls, and the sink and area to dry yourself after showering is located outside the bathroom, so you'll have to be very comfortable with the person you're rooming with. The walls are a bit thin, can hear people in the other room if they're loud at night. Overall a very enjoyable stay!

First thing i saw walking into the hotel were 2 53 inches teddy bear sitting on the coach with a smile welcoming us. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable. The hotel is about 10 minutes aways from Zhong Shan Mrt ( one stop from taipe station). And there were a lot of convinient stores such as 7 Elevan (which i love so much) , family mall, shopping centre, watson etc. The hote provide yummy breakfast which they change the menu everyday. Free flow of coffee and soft drinks, free use of washing and drying machine (10am to 10pm), and i love the toilet! Complete with bath tub, sona, you can use the drying function and the toilet even comes with 'washing' function. TV comes with almost 100 channels, they have hair drier, water boiler and complete bathroom set (toothbrush, mouth wash, towels, body lotion, hand soap etc).The hotel can arrange taxi pick up which is cheaper comparing to market rate.The only thing i would complain is the sound proof system which is not good.

Room is clean, well decorated, and spacious. Great Service from the staffs;friendly and helpful. Location is only one stop of MRT from the centre of city. Take the exit 9 and walk 7-10 minutes to the hotel. Overall, I will stay again for the next visit.

Nice hotel in a convenient location
This hotel is at a very convenient location. Its not right outside the MRT station but the walk isn't really anything to complain about. The size, cleanliness, and amenities of the room was what we expected compared to other notes we stayed in Taipei at the price range. Staying in the room with no windows we did have issues with air circulation. So make sure you turn on the ventilation in the bathroom as soon as pissible. They also somehow cutoff our a/c and had to complain before the problem was resolved. They said their a/c takes a while to turn on right after they called back and said try again. I didn't care who was right or wrong as long as it was working so we just kept our opinion about that to ourselves. The bathroom is nice but the door doesn't lock or completely close (opens about a half inch after closing). We saw another room where this was not an occurrence so YMMV. This was not a big deal to us but to those it is be wary of it. Nice single size bath with sitting space on three sides. The breakfast was nothing to rave about. Ask about a Taiwanese breakfast place and they will print out a map for you to a place which is a chain and pretty popular. There are even breakfast carts along the way to the MRT station if you don't have time to go there. All in all a good place to stay in an area that stays lively late into the night.

Our home away from home
We arrived just before midnight New Year Eve, quick check-in, got to fireworks. Good breakfast each morning - Taiwan style. English language newspapers. Traveled on 4th day, they watched luggage, back on 5th day. Arranged car to airport, provided change, let us use their computer to print boarding passes. Very comfortable room. Restaurants close by, Metro a bit of a walk but fine. Great bathroom and tub. We are happy patrons.
