This hotel is tiny but cozy. the staff here is very nice and polite. Only thing is the room is too small. The area around has too many hair-washing services.

The hotel itself was relatively old though still kept in decent condition. The facilities were well kept and acceptable. Kudos to the staff who were all friendly and helpful. A slight inconvenience would be its location which is about 10-15 minutes' walk from Zhongshan station. Overall is more than value for money if one doesnt mind walking for abit or will be taking cabs or Uber most of the time.

Staffs can speak japanese and very helpful. The room is clean and confortable for me because many kinds of amenities are equipped, that reminds me of a japanese hotel.

An all-round fantastic hotel. Great location with accessible neccessities and dining options within walking distance, and a short taxi or train ride from the popular Taipei attractions. Importantly, the staff are exceptional - extremely kind, helpful and put in the effort to make guests feel at home. Credits to the staff for a wonderful experience.

Fantastic service, location, people, super clean
Incredible service from Eric and their team. Perfect location. Lots of food and markets and sights in the area. Very clean hotel. They even helped me book train tickets, taxis and help with laundry room. Fresh towels and water every day (5 night stay). 10 out of 10 is not a high enough score for this hotel. Quiet place good soundproofing.

The room was clean and tidy. The staff did a great job of making my bed and more room as comfortable as possible. Staff was helpful and multilingual (English, Mandarin, and Japanese). I appreciated them accommodating my early check in after flying from Seattle. I would definitely stay here again on a future trip to Taipei.

Great service, especially the manager Erik. Very friendly, accommodating, clean. They have predominantly Japanese travelers so set-up culturally for them. We are from the US but really enjoy cultures and so we really liked having a different twist to our trip.

Very old and run down The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. For such an expensive hotel it should have been much better I paid half the price for a much better hotel before so I was very disappointed. The cleanliness could have been better as it’s a Japanese hotel The room was very dusty near the mirrors and glass areas in the room, all dust like no one has cleaned it in many years. I would not book this hotel again.

Really enjoyed the stay at the Tokyo International Hotel. The room was very clean. The staff at the reception and canteen were very friendly and helpful. A RMT station is only a few minutes away. The area has a variety of restaurants and shops.

The staff were very friendly and attentive. Their attention to detail was incredible and they made sure we were well taken care of. However, the area is not the quietest - on one of our nights there, we were woken up by people singing karaoke in neighboring buildings at 2-3am. All in all though, we had a pleasant stay and the staff were definitely the highlight of our stay.

Stayed 2 days and 3 days, a snug hotel in the center of Taipei. Close to the metro, pubs, restaurants and my room was clean and comfortable. The staff helped in everything. I would go back.

Nice but let down by breakfast
I needed a place in Taipei for one night so chose this one. Good location, lovely staff. They had forgotten towels in my room but a quick call and 30 seconds later there they were. Room was chic and comfortable too. Downside? The breakfast. Everything was cold, they just couldn’t keep it warm and the coffee was out of a flask. This let it down as the Taiwanese breakfast I’d had in my Kaohsiung hotel was amazing. So, I’ll give these guys an ‘ok’ and very lovely staff

Our front desk clerk was awesome. This was our first time in Taipei and he provided some awesome information and sites to visit. Check-in was great as well. I would absolutely stay here again when I visit Taipei in the future.

Super nice staff. Good location for foodie venture. My 6 nights of staying they never restock toothbrush and paste. The slipper never change or provide us a new pair. The in room Wi-Fi slow can't watch YouTube on 480 or 720. Stop buffering and watch. Bathroom ventilation was poor and after shower, the whole felt stuffy.

Everything about Tokyo international was so great. The service specially stood out. I would recommend this hotel to everyone traveling to Taiwan.

Fantastic staff
We stayed in this hotel for a total of five nights. We chose this hotel based on excellent reviews of friendly hotel staff. And our expectation was not betrayed. They really try to foresee what we need and offer their help even before we ask for it. They asked us if we want to leave our luggage while we were visiting other cities, they give detailed instructions to tax drivers every time we needed a cab, and they told us where we could try an authentic Taiwanese stew, etc. It's like you have a personal assistance yet they are not that intrusive. The hotel is located on a convenient yet very busy street, but the room was quiet. It was also very clean. I will stay this place again when I visit Taipei next time.

My best hotel experience in Taiwan
We had a wonderful stay for 3 nights over the Christmas period. The service provided by the hotel staff was exceptional. Not only the counter staff addressed us by name each time we go in and out of the hotel, even the ladies serving breakfast know where we come from. We feel like taking an SIA business class flight where cabin staff address you by name. On the last morning when we needed to leave at 5am to catch a early morning flight , the hotel staff called the cab for us and prepared hot tea and rice balls for us to eat at the airport. Very thoughtful. The hotel room is spotlessly clean. The room is well proportioned. The sound insulation is superb even though it is on a busy road. The breakfast buffet spread is very good with local, Japanese and western cuisine. This hotel provided first class product and service at a very reasonable price. I will definitely choose this hotel when I come to Taipei the next time.
