Hotel near to the fashion district

Posted Jul 4, 2014
Location was easy to find and food nearby like Ding Tai Feng just a road ahead. Staffs are nice and helpful. They helped us book a taxi to airport. Hotel breakfast is normal. Hotel room is nice and cosy. If you want a cosy room w your love is ok. Not recommended for whole family stay because there are nightclubs in the same building n blasting music till abt 4-5am. Pillow too soft and unable to sleep well.

Karaoke just below the room and lack of soundproof

Posted Mar 26, 2014
Pros: Location was perfect!! I recommend someone who doesn't need to sleep & want to enjoy the whole night with Friends!!
Cons: Soundproof!! and proper information for customer!!!
Location: Everything is close to this hotel!! Location is perfect!!
I couldn't sleep for two days during the weekend because the Vendome hotel's rooms are not properly soundproofed, so I can hear everything that goes on lower floor, which is a Karaoke. Until 6am, I had to wake up and hotel staff said they already inform to Expedia, so It is the problem of Expedia. Even i moved to Standard room to avoid Karaoke, there are no windows and they said all standard room doesn't have windows and said they already mention to Expedia and Expedia didn't update information. I want to ask whose fault?

Fine for a night, but no more

Posted Mar 15, 2014
Pros: Shower facilities
Cons: Clothes space. Heating
Location: Good location; lots of restaurants and nice stores nearby.
Bath and shower are nice, but otherwise the room is not well designed for traveller comfort; no closet space or anywhere to put your case and clothes. And bring your own heating. Adjusting the room thermostat does nothing so we were cold all the time. It is in a nice part of town and being next to MTR is great.

Difficult to find, unusual

Posted Mar 4, 2014
Pros: Price
The hotel is located on the 12th floor above a dept store. The entrance is via a lift which is not easy to find. This is a very small hotel and the rooms are extremely small. To be aware of before you book: 1. You cannot put anything into the toilet ie. toilet paper. This has to be put in a bin beside the toilet. Not the most hygienic of activities. 2. There is no wardrobe or stand to put a suitcase or in fact much room to put a suitcase on the floor 3. The bathroom is separated from the bedroom by a glass partition, and curtain 4. Noise from adjacent rooms is very apparent 5. For travellers with children, the last 3 tv channels feature hard core pornography, which is not encrypted. There is no warning of this 6. The breakfast room is small and the breakfast disappointing The room is clean, the bed comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful (some difficulty with English), but wouldn't recommend for anything longer than one night.

An Taiwan adventure (but a fact finder for myself

Posted Feb 4, 2014
The hotel is situated on the main high street, all amenities are near by, ie shops, taxes, fast rail/roads and the airport us only a 40 minutes taxi drive. Look at the back streets for more traditional Taiwanese dishes at a more reasonable prices. My hotel staff were very helpful in assisting me in my venture. It would be better is you spoke some mandarin, some taxi driver I met spoke a little English, but most hotel staff and restaurants staff spoke good english but all I did was plan my rounte before hand and printed a map from the free use of there computer although a page print was very cheap,
