Unbeatable at this price pointPosted Jul 4, 2014
Room was super clean and the common lounge and bathhouse were really comfortable as well. Excellent location close to many shops.

Great hotel for the pricePosted Feb 12, 2014
Pros: Liked the location, staff friendly and helpful even if limited English and the spa was excellent.
Cons: More comfortable pillows!
Location: Straight down covered pedestrian street takes you to the Port and JR rail as well as shops and restaurants
We found this to be a good location, able to walk to the port and major parks as well as shopping areas and restaurants. Hotel rooms although small were spotless clean. Best part is the free Onsen on the rooftop, great way to relax at the end of a day!

Clean and compact hotel with good locationPosted Dec 29, 2013
Pros: cleanliness and location
Cons: wifi in the rooms
Location: near shinkansen and ferry terminals. shopping arcade across the street Ritsurin Go-en, Isamu Nocguchi garden museum, Shikoku Mura nearby
Stayed at Hotel Dormy Inn Takatmatsu from 16 to 20 Dec 2013. The hotel is 2 metro stops away from Takamatsu-chikko station, where the Shinkansen and ferry stations are located. From the metro station, the hotel is a 5 min walk away. It is also just across the street from the main shopping arcade with a good mix of shops and eateries. The room is clean and compact. The free usage of the onsen at the top floor is a great amenity during the cold december weather. Breakfast is not included in the accommodations cost, but for 600 yen one gets a good meal of udon, which Takamatsu is renown for. Unfortunately wifi is available only in the hotel lobby but not the rooms. Overall it was a satisfying stay.

Very high stand economic stayPosted Nov 2, 2013
Looks like it has been newly renovated. Very friendly staff with sufficient amounts of English to assist. Rooms small but well economic with space, typical size for Japan. Free access to onsen on top level was wonderful after a long day, and free laundry use (100yen for dryer) was very useful. Would defiantly stay here again and recommend to others!

A very average hotel with no outstanding or defining plus points - only negative was a slightly small room. A reasonable option for the price.

onsen was a good come onPosted Sep 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
The carpet needs cleaning. And the king size bed did not provide space on one side. The free night cap was a welcome together with the onsen.

Very nice, clean, hotel in good areaPosted May 28, 2013 on Hotels.com
Good place to stay, but be careful about the TV programs. Read the instructions first or adult channels will just pop up, .and you get charged immediately

Great OnsenPosted Apr 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
It was all that you would expect for the tariff. Members of my family would have preferred the convenience of in-room wifi. The rooftop onsen was like stepping into a warm bath (literally)!
