Thin walls and dated furnishings

Pros: The staff was very nice and very helpful.
Cons: Carpets, wall coverings, and bathroom remodel.
Location: In downtown, many restraunts.
The thin walls allowed us to hear the neighbors conversations, among other noises, late in to the night and then early in the morning on the other side. The furnishings and style seemed a bit dated. If you are on the second floor, you must walk all the ay to the opposite end of the long hotel to get the elevator and hike back to your room. Find the stiars and carry your luggage if possible.

Just what you'd expect from Marriott. Looks like they just did a complete renovation. New furniture, carpet, paint, and electronics. Nicely done!

Wonderful staff, when out of their way to be of assistance. The room was super comfortable, clean and accommodating. Best night sleep I have had in a hotel in a while. Housekeeping was very helpful even when we asked for a later service. Loved the Starbucks/Bistro downstairs. Just wish it was open later in the morning to Lunch time. But even though they were closed they still found time to provide us with coffee and coffee cakes. The hotel has all the amenities you need and its also very close to the schools, the capital, the mall, and a multitude of restaurants. Excellent in my book.

It is true that we offer most all of the made to your order Starbucks coffee drinks 24 hours a day. We also offer some limited pre-made lunch and snack options in our Market. Additionally there are over 30 restaurants in our immediate neighborhood, many with in a few blocks walking distance! Nice and clean hotel. I found it's location at times a bit tricky to get around with a car. I also wish they oferred breakfast. Overall though great stay and nice bed.

Made reservations 10 minutes before arrival. Very nice staff. Only complaint is they only have one elevator and our room was absolutely the farthest away from it. We had a lot of things we could not leave in car so it was a lot of work to get our things upstairs and down stairs. Why is the only elevator not centrally located?
