You get what you pay for

Indoor swimming pool was not heated. Indoor whirlpool was excellent. Room heater/ac unit was very noisy. Beds were too soft for my comfort level. Glasses in the room were filthy. Neighborhood very commercial - plenty of places to eat. Would try a different hotel next time I'm in Tallahassee.

Pros: Friendly, efficient front desk.
Cons: Housekeeping.
Location: Biggest plus is that it's located just off the interstste with excellent resturants near by.
This was a stop-over, one night stay while traveling during the Christmas holiday. Our room was clean and the bed comfortable; however, the beverage glasses provided in the room were dirty, smudged with what appeared to be lip gloss or wax. I took them to the front desk where an apology was offered and housekeeping brought another set of glasses to the room. This is the only Mariott that I've stayed in that a magnifying make-up/shaving mirror wasn't provided, nor was there any hand/body lotion. One of the bath towels actually smelled dirty, like perhaps it didn't get laundered. We probably won't stay there again because of these things in addition to the fact that the sink vanity area was too small to accommodate two people trying to dress, dry hair, apply make-up, etc. Overall, the hotel is convenient to resturants and attractions in Tallahassee and if you don't mind having to correct unpleasantries, then it's ok.

convenient to our family

Made a quick trip to Tallahassee to spend Christmas Eve/Day with our family. Very convenient to casual dining, room was comfortable, easily accessible to our vehicle, clean and quiet. The staff was very pleasant especially those that were working on Christmas morning.

Nice clean space, I enjoyed the decor and the only downside was the thin walls but other than that everything was in order, would stay again on a normal trip with family.

Courtyard always 1st Choice

Courtyard is always comfortable, fresh in its design, comfort, services. Always to get in and out when on business or in late or out early. The white lite signature comforter cover is inviting and the white insures me clean and no hidden dirt. I love hotels. This is a college town during season. Are some newer ones nicer, fresher, cleaner - of course. This is like a NYC hotel during football season - lot of traffic. But I found it to everything I needed and wanted that night.

Great, safe place

The staff was very friendly. I had to buy my breakfast, but they had exactly what I wanted. When I lost my bag -- with thousands of dollars of equipment in it -- they found it and brought it to me. I'll stay there again. And again, probably.
