“Come in from the rain”

Living in New Orleans , with Hurricane Gustav in the gulf, a manditory evacuation was ordered by Mayor Nagin.I made my reservation late sunday night for arrival the next day. after a 15 hour trek. and in a city I had never been to before. and really stressed out. from the moment I was greeted by a nice smile. the tone was established as to how the rest of my stay would be, my small pet was also welcomed, room,housekeeping, breakfast, and front desk staff were great . what started out as an escape from a bad storm , ended up to a very nice (and dry) getaway.

“Very close to FSU, great breakfast!”

We were taking our daughter to start college at FSU, and this hotel was less than a mile from FSU. It was very clean, and the staff was courteous and professional. The breakfast was great, the only negative was lack of parking, the hotel was full and we had to park accross the street...not a big deal. We will be back! We got in too late to try the evening happy hour, so we are looking forward to our next trip.

I stayed in the studio suite and it was very impressive. The room had everything you could imagine and it was very cozy. I loved the fact that there was a complimentary breakfast buffet. If I am ever in the area again, I will definitely stay here!

“Very Comfortable Hotel”

Residents Inn was very comfortable. Accomodations were more than expected. Breakfast buffet was great but was crowded at times. Staff kept everything replenished very well. Can't think of one thing that was unpleasant.

“Very Family Oriented”

We loved our stay at this property, the only negative draw back is I think that they should put all guest with pets in a certain area of the hotel as we were constantly disturbed by loud dog barking and unwanted smells every time we entered and exited our room. The breakfast was excellent as well as the finger food snack Happy Hour. The Staff was courteous and respectful. We have a daughter who is in her junior year and will be attending school another 3 years there in Tallahassee and this will definitely be our place to stay when we visit her.

“New, clean and friendly- close to FSU”

The Residence Inn is a clean and attractive hotel in an older part of Tallahassee that is undergoing renovation. I was a little put off by the surrounding businesses at arrival, but felt better when we were cheerfully greeted in a nicely apoointed lobby with afternoon snacks being served. Breakfast was ample and nicely done. We were able to walk to FSU's campus from the hotel in about 15 minutes. I would happily stay here again.

“Great experience”

I took my kids to visit FSU and we stayed here for one night, on a Monday night. We had great accomodations and everything was very clean. The staff was very courteous. The cocktails and snacks served in the evening were great. The kids ate platefuls of food then and at the breakfast the next morning. We would definitely stay here again.

“Nice place in the right place”

This hotel was just a couple blocks from the FSU campus. The room was immaculate, appeared to be recently renovated, looked just like the website pictures. Everything worked. Breakfast was typical Residence Inn / waffles, muffins, cereal, and a couple of fresh hot dishes (sausage, pancakes, scrambled eggs, etc.). Plenty of hot water for the shower. Staff was courteous, and cleaning staff was prompt.. Laundry facilities were well kept also. I would stay there again any time.

“More than just a hotel”

All the rooms are suites, complete with living area, kitchen, dining, sleeping & bath. Very nicely layed out and very well kept. We were at the hotel for a total of 6 nights & were very much at home. Housekeeping did a nice job and the front desk was very accommodating in answering questions and meeting most needs. The airport shuttle service & the complimentary grocery shopping were my favorite 2 perks here & I also enjoyed their over-sized hot tub. The complimentary breakfast was much more than breads & coffee; they always had eggs, a waffle maker, fruit, yogurt, cereal, etc., etc., another item that boosted our stay & satisfaction with the pricing. I will stay here again in the summer upon my return to the area and look forward to it!
