Residence Inn Tallahassee Universities at the Capitol

Beds are very uncomfortable. You feel like you are sleeping with your feet higher than your head.

The hotel was VERY clean and the staff was very pleasant and helpful. The pool area was clean and inviting and the FREE full buffet, hot breakfast was superb! Saved us some money by not having to take the family out to breakfast. Also made a quick run to a local grocery store and stocked our full size refrigerator with drinks and snacks for the family. Definitely would stay there again if we were to ever visit the Tallahassee area. The only reason I gave it a 4 overall rating was because there was quite a bit of construction going on around the hotel and the "immediate" surrounding area was a bit run down. But as long as you were inside the hotel you were very comfortable. Because of past reviews, we did request a poolside room to avoid the noise they spoke of, but honestly we did not hear anything. Whether this was because we were poolside or not, I'm not sure.

We stayed in September and were wel pleased. The room was not as clean as it could have been. The hallways and elevator had not been vacuumed. Also pets are allowed and I am highly allergic. A man got in the elevator just before us with a large German shepard.

Fine stay. Good breakfast. Helpful front desk staff. Room was clean and spacious. Close enough to walk to campus, depending on where you are headed. "Free" parking, wifi, and breakfast make it a good value choice.

Service was great, room was great. Very satisfied. The ony complaint I would have is that the bed was hard as a rock and not very comfortable. If you're going to FSU for any reason, this hotel is perfect! It's on the back side of the campus and near everything!

we like staying at the Residence Inn. It is close to my son's house and is centrally located to other places to go in Tallahassee. We plan on making reservations at your hotel when my son graduates next year. Also, your staff is friendly and welcoming . I always enjoy my stay.

Loved the rooms--comfy and attractive. Staff was very accommodating. My only complaint was the level of noise that came through the door from the hallway. Other hotel guests were returning from celebrations and it was as though they were in our living room, not the hallway. The room doors were thick and heavy, so it was surprising.

My family stayed here and was amazed at the spacious two bedroom suite with full kitchenette. We were told snacks were supplied in the evening, but it could have been a meal! The breakfast was good, covered all bases.
