Perfect location for graduation.

Posted Aug 4, 2014
Pros: location
Cons: They could serve a continental breakfast.
If you are looking for food, pool, room service and luxury this hotel is not for you. However, if you are looking for a reasonably priced place to stay without bugs that is clean and close to the graduation ceremonies, you've found it. No continental breakfast and no extras but clean and great location

Do not comply with online selections.

Posted Jul 6, 2013
Pros: Location to my destination.
Cons: Counter staff. The smell of the rooms, and the overall courtesy to make sure that the clients are happy. No phones worked in the rooms.
Location: Nothing to do. Maybe a little shopping, mostly a college town.
The hotel owner tried convincing me that I chose a smoking room online. I felt like he was trying to sell me on this because this was the only room they had left. When I showed him my paper work that non smoking was clearly selected he got annoyed with me because he had to upgrade my room. Also the phones in the room did not work for incoming or aoutgoing calls. When I gtave the number to my family to reach me they were told no one was in that room. Which ofcourse was a blatant lie.

Ideal for Visiting College Students

Rooms are clean, hotel staff brings new towels/toiletries every morning. The only problem is it's location. It is across the street from a strip of bars so the loud, drunk patrons can be heard from inside the rooms. Other than the noise, which isn't the hotel's fault, no complaints.

Not Impressed

Posted Jun 17, 2011
I was not impressed with University Inn & Suites. The Hotel is located in the most convenience proximity to Florida State University but I found insects in the bathroom and my clothes. The hotel did refund one night’s stay when I reported the insect problem. I killed a 3 inch coach roach in the bathroom. The hotel is in serious need of repair and cleaning.

HORRIBLE !!!!!!!!

Posted Nov 24, 2009
This hotel was terrible. There were bugs in the bathroom, sheets were stained and the room was dirty. When we complained the girl at the front desk said that there was nothing that she could do and that she would have the manager call us. I provided her with two numbers to reach us and we did not hear from the manager at all. Parking was awful and the area near the south and east end of the neighborhood appeared dangerous. It was very noisy with people partying to all hours. I will never stay at this hotel again and will tell all of our friends who visit the area to avoid it as well.
