The downside is too small room down all the way to medieval design stairs long way with luggage it does not work at all . Only this is the issue but the rest is ok

This hotel was quite unique. Our room was the furthest from the entry dure to a rabbit-warren of corridors, that seemed to be dug through an old wall. Do not mistake this for a complaint. It added to the charm. The long walk was reqwarded by a good-sized, well appointed room wfor the price. Also a good breakfast laid on the the price.

Great hotel in a great location right in the centre of the old town. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel was clean tidy and the rooms of a good size. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

I needed a desk to work while staying here and there was not one in the room. The staff very kindly let me use a table in their wonderful restaurant before opening time, arguably the nicest space I've ever worked in. Thank you - I world definitely stay here again.

Excellent hotel. Rooms were cozy yet large. Very clean. Lounge was great. Parking was convenient but challenging to get to initially. thank you for a great stay!

Great location
Great location in a fascinating city. The hotel is several very old buildings connected with little corridors. Our room was quirky very clean and comfortable. Staff were helpful. We ate in the restaurant one night, interesting food, maybe too many odd things brought together on the same plate.

Enjoyable stay in great location.
A really nice character hotel in the heart of the Old Town. The room was lovely, comfortable bed and lovely pillows, large room with fridge and kettle. Large TV. and sofa area. Only a couple of small things prevent me giving this 5 stars. Firstly there was no air-con which is not surprising as it was an old building. There were windows front and back to let air through but unfortunately this meant there was a lot of noise from the street and from the restaurant courtyard at the back. So I wouldn’t recommend this if you want a really quiet room. The bathroom was large with a powerful shower over the large bath - but there was no screen so the floor got wet. There was a rubber mat over a central drain in the floor - to stop smells from the drains but this was very slippery if you accidentally stepped on it. Might be quite dangerous. The breakfast was very good although limited hot choices. But overall we enjoyed our stay at the Cru.

Character and perfect location
We had a lovely large room with sitting area which was very comfortable. We could sleep with open windows with very little street noise despite being located right in the old town. Easy access to all of the sights and experiences. Breakfast was fresh and constantly replenished, perfect start to the day.

A definite DON’T recommend. There was no soap in the shower dispenser or at sink. Zero soap. Old towels and only 2 towels in room. No hand towel etc. cheap management. There was one outlet for charging an electronic FAR from bed! There was NO information sheet next to phone so how do you reach reception to ask for soap. All numbers and buttons I chose didn’t work. Some staff are friendly but the female was judgmental and off putting. The hotel needs outlets in room and cleaning is lacking. Soap! Come on. The rooms are outdated.

Cru hotel is a wonderful boutique hotel right in the heart Old Town. It has amazing breakfast, it’s super quiet, it’s so unique and quirky. I loved staying there. Also, the staff was extremely helpful with any questions I had, and with recommendations. Just be aware that there are lots of stairs with no elevator so having heavy luggage or difficulty walking up stairs, this hotel would not be recommended.

Perfect location in the old town but still easy to catch public transport or taxis from nearby. Comfortable bed and good breakfast. Bathroom was cramped and lack of plugs near the bed was a bit annoying, but that’s what you get with an old building.

Wonderful central medieval hotel
A simply lovely place to stay for a few days visiting old Tallinn. It's very close to the Town Square and transfers and taxis are on hand. The service was above and beyond and we were incredibly well looked after. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast and dinners top notch. Can't wait to go back.

This is a charming, welcoming hotel ideally situated right in the old town. The two duty managers took time to chat: it was a warm, personal welcome. Breakfast, included in the room rates, was varied and generous. The restaurant (very young chef, apparently) is excellent: the tasting menu was inventive, accomplished - and delicious. I would certainly recommend this small hotel (just 15 rooms) and hope to return myself some day. Tallinn itself is delightful.

Awesome location, huge room and great staff.
Excellent location right in the centre of the old town near old town square. Deluxe room was large, we had 2 rooms, each was different inside and appears each room has unique interior. Our rooms looked into an alleyway so no noise at night from street which was great. Furnishings slightly tired but felt in keeping with old town area. Nice breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms all appear upstairs so may not be suitable if you had a wheelchair etc. We'd definitely come back.

Highly recommended
The location is perfect 100 mts away of the main square. The service and the breakfast were excellent with a wide range of options to chose from. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly I also recommend the restaurant, the food was delicious. The only thing that was a bit off was that there was an issue with the pipes and,that was being fixed duri my stay,a sewer smell in the bathroom. It wasn't the hotel's fault.

The location is excellent and the receptionist is nice and helpful. However, the room has seen better days - bed was old, windows didn't properly shut, strange layout, but the worst was being on the street with an incredible amount of overnight noise (weekend night) and morning commercial unloading, including I think from the bar in the hotel. If you do stay here, make sure not to get a room on the street. 5/10.

Great check in. Hotel is not ideal if you have a heavy suitcase as no lift but the charm outweighs this. Bed was a bit soft. The restaurant with 10% for hotel guests was lovely. The food was delicious.

It is a beautiful old world but very well preserved building in the middle of the Old Town. Wonderful location! The service was fabulous and the room couldn't have been better (quaint and full of charm). There is a wonderful restaurant on site too.

The hotel is unique and lovely. The ancient building has been restored and decorated very comfortably. Beds and furniture are welcoming. Bathroom and shower excellent. The service was very warm and helpful. The location is perfect--steps from the Old Town Square as well as trams and taxis to explore the larger city.
