Centrally located…Nice Staff….Excellent breakfast selection. Very convenient for ferry travel to Helsinki as it is walking distance from Port of Tallinn Terminal A.

Good location, walkable distance to old town, good breakfast. Rooms are a little bit updated, small washroom, bed is not comfortable with no option for pillows.

it's definitely not what i would call a 4 star hotel. Everything was clean and basic, the breakfast was amazing and so was the waterpark but other than that it was average

Kalev spa is located in a very central area of Tallinn. It’s easy to walk from there to the old town and everywhere. The spa Center has amazing amenities: pool, spa, saunas. I also loved the breakfast that is included in your stay. The only thing: we had to point out to the cleaning lady that the sheets were dirty when we checked in. Other than that I loved the spa hotel

We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights . We were charged extra €36 for rollaway bed . According to hotel website each room can acclimate 4 guests so in 2 rooms there were 5 of us . We emailed hotel about rollaway bed no reply received . First night we could not sleep as on ground floor busy road and pedestrians on one side and people running in the corridor the whole night . We complained and our rooms were changed. In these rooms the bathrooms smelled of sewage with mildew & mould in between tiles . We complained and were told to leave bathroom door , room door & window open ! As vegetarians we were given ‘ham’ sandwiches

Comfortable stay near Tallin's Old Town
The positive things: The room was very spacious, quiet and clean. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed a good night sleep. The hotel provides bathrobes which make it rather easy to visit the attached waterpark (one needs to bring her own slipper though). The breakfast offered lots of variety and choice. Overall the food seemed of very good quality. We also liked that the buffet area was separated from the eating area. We also liked the 5-min eggs, but one needs to abuse the espresso cups as an egg cups - no idea why no egg cups were provided. The somewhat annoying bits: First, while on-site parking is available, there are simply not enough spaces and somehow it is not possible to use the car park on the other side of the building (it seems to be "reserved" for customers of the waterpark only). Second, Estonian COVID-19 restrictions during our visit require everyone to wear a mask inside. This was not being followed by some guests, in particular at the rather crowded breakfast buffet area. Hotel staff didn't show any incentive to remind (or enforce) this restriction. Third, we really would appreciate if allergens are clearly marked on the food labels. Also, it would be nice to provide plain instant coffee (i.e. without milk powder) in the rooms in case one prefers black coffee or is lactose intolerant.

The breakfast buffet is reason alone to stay here! My kid’s had a blast going down the slides and I lived swimming in the huge lap pool. Rooms were a bit small for 4 but just fine. I’d stay there again, location amazing.

Very nice spa hotel
We had a very nice stay at the hotel. The rooms are small but have all the necessary and desirable amenities like fridge, tv, chair, desk, war drope, hair drier etc. The breakfast starts very late at 7:30am every day of the week. The spa area is nice with two different warm water pools, a kid’s pool, and a 50m swimming pool as well as several water slides. There are several sauna options and everything is clearly newly renovated and has a luxurious feel to it at a very reasonable price in a central location downtown.

Great stay at a centrally located, modern hotel.
The hotel was very clean and modern and the swimming pool and sauna areas were fabulous. Great forca family stay as very close to the centre of everything. Breakfast was just ok as most of the hot food was cold, however there was plenty of choice. Overall rating is very good.
