Short walk to Old Town.Posted Aug 2, 2014
Pros: The room and view. The pool and saunas were awesome. The café served delicious pastries especially the passionfruit torte. Close walk to old town.
Cons: Attitudes of certain staff members. Breakfast. Signage in women's locker room. No door is marked as "to Pool" or "to Lobby."
Location: Great location - walking distance to Old Town.
When we arrived to check in the front desk clerk was unfriendly and unwelcoming. Found the safe in our room was locked open. The security guy came without a key, and pronounced it broken and that we should change rooms. He told us that the front desk would not keep an items we wanted to put in the safe. We did not want to change rooms because we were on the top floor with a great view of the old town wall and two of the large towers. Went down to see front desk clerk again unfriendly and gave me keys to two other rooms, which were definitely not as nice as the room we had. Fortunately for the rest of our stay the front desk people were very friendly, helpful, and cheerfully took our computer for safekeeping while we were out. The pool facility was awesome. So refreshing after a hot day walking and sightseeing. Breakfast was not that good - undercooked bacon, mystery chopped canned? fruit. Staff was not attentive to items needing replenishing.

Busy hotel in a good locationPosted Jun 27, 2014
Pros: Great location and friendly staff
Cons: Climate control! Might also be good to ask tour groups to stagger breakfast times, or perhaps seat tour groups in a designated area?
Location: The hotel is located at the gates of old town- there are numerous cafes, restaurants and sights nearby.
This hotel is very well situated near the gates of old town, close to public transportation, and within walking distance to Kristine shopping mall. There are several cafes/restaurants/bars located on the premises, day spa facilities, free WiFi, and a good selection of cable TV channels. Staff are friendly and do their best to assist, but it should be noted that this hotel is very popular with Tour groups and is therefore extremely busy. Breakfast is chaos so be prepared to share a table (on one occasion i did have to wait a little for a seat), but the selection is very good. The rooms are clean, however, it does appear as though there are insufficient house keeping staff as my check in was delayed by 1.5hrs, and daily service of the room occurred very late in the afternoon/evening. The rooms were in good condition, but as noted by others, there does seem to be an issue with the climate control (at least in some rooms) as after several attempts at adjusting the temperature (and even switching off the system), the room was uncomfortably warm. It is possible to open doors/windows in the room, so not too bad. Overall, a safe, clean and reasonably priced hotel, but a little crowded.

Room servicesPosted Jun 17, 2014 on Hotels.com
Good hotel in a good location public areas excellent and reception and restaurant staff friendly and helpful. They were let down by chambermaids who only serviced the room if you put the request sign on the door and didn't replenish tea coffee or water at all.

My eighth visit to Tallinn and I have stayed in this Hotel every time! Sousa, the concierge is possibly the friendliest, most polite man in the world. All the staff are extremely polite and friendly. Already counting down to next year's stay
