Great location in center of Old Town TALLINN;Posted Feb 9, 2015
Pros: Central yet quiet location ; service quality, elegant historic rooms and lounges; tasteful menu; cozy "home away from home" atmosphere.
Cons: Can not think of anything.
Location: Convenient walking distance to tourist spots, other restaurants, Old Town square, and shops, modern big stores, opera house, parks, historic churches.
We arrived past midnight, all reservation details were ready; hotel was not busy and because we had stayed there before, our room was upgraded; lovely old historical hotel yet all modern comforts and elegant decor; peaceful and quiet at all times especially welcoming after our long trip from Canada; personal attention given to trace our flight-delayed luggage; lots of cheerful, personal and courteous attention to our requests for taxis, room service; very well trained and young staff. Many of the staff we remembered from our last trip, who also remembered us, they all showed pride in the hotel and their work as a team.

Good hotel in the old townPosted Dec 29, 2014
Pros: Staff/location/ breakfast/character/ architecture.
Cons: It would be nice if all rooms had tea and coffee making facilities. Rooms good but shabby now.
Location: Handy for access to the main shops/ideally located in the old town /lots of museums and art galleries/ fantastic restaurants/lovely just to wander and
Lovely hotel with fantastic staff. Excellent breakfast. The only recommendation I would make is that perhaps all the rooms could have tea and coffee making facilities. We were upgraded to a junior suite...would have been disappointed otherwise as superior twin rooms very small and without character.

Täytti mallikkaasti odotuksemmePosted Dec 9, 2014 on Hotels.com

Fantastic hotel in the perfect spotPosted Dec 5, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff and convenient location
Location: Old Town, Occupation Museum.
The staff was very helpful and accommodating, especially with our luggage and stroller. The building was constructed in the 1300s, and was never retrofitted with an elevator. Our suite was on the top (3rd floor), so they were great in always helping us with stroller storage, as well as carrying our suitcase up when we checked in and down when we checked out. The location is a block from the town hall and the center of the old town area.

Excellent base for a few days in TallinnPosted Nov 17, 2014
Pros: The Style, the staff and the location.
Cons: The bed and bedding.
Location: Excellent location. Lots of bars and cafes close by. Excellent restaurants including Aed for superb Estonian cuisine and Mekk for more formal dining.
Stayed at the Schlossle for a couple of nights on a business trip in November 2014. I had a deluxe room (room 9) which was very nicely decorated and had everything I could possibly need. The staff were very friendly in a formal manner (standing up when I entered the lobby area). The location is perfect and only a minutes walk to the main square. The room was medieval style but with mod cons like an ipad and digital central heating. The wifi worked perfectly and overall the hotel was excellent. If I had anything negative to say I would say that the bed could have been more comfortable. But that's really clutching at straws. This is an excellent hotel and perfect for a few nights in Tallinn.
