Perfect but a bit hot.Posted Aug 12, 2013
Pros: The old building and courtyard and position.
Cons: No air conditioning.
Location: Excellent, right in the middle of a very interesting old city.
We found the hotel staff very friendly and efficient. The hotel is very beautiful and well positioned. Rooms attractive, interesting and clean. Unfortunately the weather was very hot and so was the room. The courtyard garden was cool and very relaxing. Breakfast good.

Stuffy on a warm night.Posted Aug 3, 2013
Pros: Small hotel has great character employing friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: No air conditioning.
Location: Great location in the heart of the old town.
The hotel is great, with one small problem. No air conditioning. And when we tried to open the window at night, the noise from the street kept us awake.

One night in transitPosted Jul 8, 2013
Pros: The spirit of history and comfort.
Cons: It would be nice to have air conditioner in hot days.
Location: All tourist attractions are around the hotel. Very good restaurant inside of hotel and many of others also a walking distance.
The hotel itself is beautiful and located in the walking distance to the most attractions of the Old Town. The experience of staying was like going back to Medieval times but with the luxury comfort of now days. Staff is excellent and helpful for any reasons. I would definitely stay there again if have a chance to travel thru this magic town in the future.

Unique, memorable stay.Posted Jul 6, 2013
This hotel is in the heart of the old city. The staff was well trained and they did whatever they could to help. For example some rooms don't have AC, but the staff got us fans. The hotel design is unique, lots of medieval stone walls on the ground floor restaurant and bar below, while the rooms are Victorian. Buffet breakfast is small but fine, and you can order off the menu. I would stay here again. It's a memorable hotel.

Superb servicePosted May 28, 2013
Cons: Room furniture slightly dated, but still decent.
Location: Very good.
Very good location. Less than 5 mins from the central square. Very good food, but by far the best was the staff friendliness and service levels - simply excellent. Very strongly recommend.

Most magnificent hotel experience in EuropePosted Mar 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
I arrived at the hotel after a very long and exhausting business trip in Finland, and was greeted with the kindest, most welcoming staff I've ever met in all of my travels. They took the time to know me by name, so I never had to say my room number when I was making requests. Everyone was warm, friendly and very attentive. The hotel is in a perfect location in beautiful Tallinn - it's within walking distance and you can explore the entire city and then quickly return to the hotel for a rest. The sauna, hotel room and dining areas were immaculate - and the food was terrific. I didn't want to leave!

Wonderful in every respect!Posted Feb 12, 2013
Pros: Character hotel, lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and an ideal location.
Cons: Everything was excellent
Location: Right in the old town a few minutes walk from the square.
A wonderful hotel full of character. Whilst it has retained the character and charm you would expect, it has every modern convenience. Really impressed to have been given an iPad for the duration of our stay. The MC Grill restaurant is very special with first class food and a wonderful atmosphere which was the tone of the whole hotel. The service and helpful of the staff was wonderful. Friendly, professional and always ready to offer help and advice - a credit to themselves and the hotel. We always loved being welcomed every time we returned from our explorations! In conclusion, a wonderful hotel full of character and atmosphere, exceptional food and staff, spotlessly clean and a pleasure to stay. Can't wait to go again!
