Very interesting and lots to see all within easy reach of this hotel. Not a town for the disabled with quaint cobbled streets and lots of steps.

The Hotel is in a good location for the Old TownPosted Sep 6, 2013
Pros: Location was the reason that we originally chose this Hotel. There is a open courtyard inside the hotel that is ideal for a pre dinner drink.
Cons: Our friends had a room close to the Laundry room, and at times it could be noisy and also a bit smelly. Maybe this room should not be used.
Location: The hotel is very close to the main square where you can find the Tourist Office, restaurants and the main attractions.
The Hotel was in a good location for exploring the Old Town. The Hotel provided an airport transfer that was reasonably priced, The hotel breakfast offered a wide range to choose from, there is also a restaurant at the hotel for lunch and evening meals. However, we chose to eat away from the hotel as there was plenty of restaurants easily within walking distance. It is best to keep away from the main square as this can be pricy. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi, also there are laptops inside the hotel that can be used by guests to access the internet, also free.

Great Tallinn hotel experiencePosted Aug 31, 2013
Enjoyed my stay at this old hotel in old town Tallinn. I read through many of the other comments on here who complained about the staff and welcome they received. Sure the staff don't get drilled on hotel hospitality training like the main brand hotels on greetings and smiles - if that whats important to you, then stay at the main brand hotels in the city part of Tallinn. The check in and out was fast and efficient and had no problems. I had a fantastic suite room overlooking the main street. Beautifully decorated with a full kitchen. The bathroom had a jacuzzi bath tub which was great after all the walking I did visiting the town. The breakfast, which is included, had a great variety of fruits, pastries and hot foods. I stayed one night and really enjoyed my experience. A couple of comments on the negative side.. there is no air conditioning in the rooms (at least not in mine), and the main street is noisy until 2am - so leaving the window open you will have to listen to the cars out front.

Don't come here if you enjoy sleeping!!!Posted Aug 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
Great hotel and location! Breakfast was very good! In the summer time, this is a very bad option if you would like to sleep and explore the town during the day because the room is really hot with only one very small window and there is a club right across the street that goes very loud until 2 am during the week or 4 am on weekends, so sleeping well is definitely not happening! Other than that, great hotel.

Overall, will not forget. The hotel was so very old, it was really a piece of antiquity. Every corner could be photographed. And, it took over 24hrs of getting lost in its non-ending turns, up and down corridors, that you finally might figure out your bearing. One bad feature: I specifically asked at the counter for a very quiet room. When I got to my room, there was live music being played down in the bar , this about 5pm. This was relaxing, at least for 4-5 hrs. Then, it became very unpleasant. Seemed the artists were maybe only 2 different ones, and playing the same beat. About 11pm , I went down to the desk and a new tendant was on duty. A young man explained it would probably end soon. !2 and the 1 1:30am and no sign of ending. If , at the very moment of check-in , the young lady would have admitted there were no quiet rooms, I would have just changed hotels. The breakfast was very , very nice, nutritional, and ladies so courteous. Again, if the receptionalist had made it clear at check-in that the room faced the music, at least I would have had the opportunity to rearrange some other place. Thank you.
