El trato no ha sido especialmente agradable, y el hecho de que nos dieran una habitación con dos camas pequeñas también es un punto negativo. El desayuno decepcionante. En definitiva, un hotel al que se podría sacar mucho más jugo dándole un poco de cariño.

Es un hotel lindo y muy bien ubicado, pero no tiene ascensor y puede ser muy dificil encontrar la habitación (parece un laberinto). El wifi no llegaba a la habitacion. Buen desayuno.

Hotel con encanto visual pero desencanto al uso
El hotel parece sacado de un cuento, todo es antiguo y con un cierto encanto, aunque descuidan la importancia de dos factores claves para el confort, como son la climatización y el aislamiento de la luz exterior. Hizo unos dias de muchísimo calor, le daba el sol todo el día a la habitación y no había aa, era como entrar en un horno. El fino visillo y la mini cortina que le acompañaba dejaban pasar toda la luz natural diurna que duraba hasta casi las 23 h de la noche y que volvia a las 6 de la mañana. Aparte de esto, el casco antiguo de Tallin bién merece ser Patrimonio de la Humanidad como declara la Unesco.

Lovely old building, clean and tidau, breakfast was good. Reception was helpful. Location is perfect. Only negatives were that we were on 5th floor. Which is a bit of a hike, especially with luggage. Also it was really hot on a night, I ended up opening the window despite it being - 8 outside. But understandable because it's such an old building but may not be for everyone.

Avoid these hotel when you would like to find your hotel room again. The hotel is a maze, 5 level of rooms, stairways not direct connected, no lift, it is a real pain searching for your room with your luggage in the hands. Never again.

Hotellihuoneeseen monimutkainen pääsy. Hotellin henkilökunta kertoi, että hotelli auki koko yön, vaikkei todellisuudessa ollut. Aamupala hyvin yksipuolinen.

The location of the property is perfect. Very close to town square with plenty of wonderful restaurants close by and 24 hour convenient store on the corner. Lots of fun finding short cut tunnels through Old City Tallin and short cut stairwells through the hotel “maze”. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was small but good hot water although poor ventilation. Rooms were warm and toasty. Floors in hotel room were dirty and we used the bath towels to wipe down the floors ourselves. I wish they would have vacuumed or mopped before we arrived which was late at 1800.

mein Zimmer 128 im Winter unpassend.kein fenster - nur Eingangstur. Zimmer kalt , das Bad überhaupt ohne Heizung.Personal: Rezeption geht noch, reinigungskraft : keine Grüsse an Hotelgäste. Frühstück: sehr schlecht. Am Kaffeautomat (1) steht immer schlange. Die Tische ohne Decken, sehen ungemütlish aus. Das Personal grüsst nicht die Gäste.Das BUffet ist arm.

The hotel is old and therefore it is not new, logically. That’s why I don’t understand people complaining about the hotel not being modern.. it’s not modern because it’s old and it should be like that. The hotel was amazing. The only thing I didn’t like was the guy at the reception could do better to arrange early breakfast for me and my partner, which we didn’t get at all. Ok, I get it, we were 2h late to ask for it. But the service should be the same at 1 star hotel and 5 stars hotel - staff should always give their best. If guests ask for a simple sandwich and you have a huge kitchen 50m away from you, you go and make a sandwich and it is very simple, or I don’t know, you do something, you still had 10 hours to figure it out how to make it possible. I mean, it’s a small thing, I will buy a sandwich somewhere else (which I later did), no problem, but it’s the small things that make everyone’s stay better. And if you can do it, you do it, you don’t try to find excuses not to do it. Other than that and a very small room (502), everything else was amazing. It was very clean, thank you whoever was taking care of our room! Breakfast was amazing! Cheers! <3

Loistava sijainti
Olen yöpynyt tässä hotellissa muutaman kerran, ja olen valinnut sen nimenomaan sijainnin ja edullisen hinnan vuoksi. Huoneet ovat siistit, mutta niissä ei ole ilmastointia, joten kesäaikaan mahtaa olla melko kuuma. Näin talviaikaan huoneessa oli vähän tunkkaista ja varsin lämmin, koska lämpöpatteri oli täysillä. Se on kuitenkin säädettävissä pienemmälle, mikäli tykkää nukkua viileämmässä. Äänieristys huoneiden välillä ei ole kovin hyvä. Aamiainen oli melko vaatimaton, mutta ihan riittävä. Hotelli ei ole paras valinta liikuntarajoitteisille, koska hotellissa on jyrkkiä ja kapeita portaita. Siltikin voin suositella tätä hotellia ja tulen varmasti yöpymään siellä taas uudestaan.

Perfect location and nice old style concept for the property. Unfortunately quite few cons... The service was not the best, a bit cold. The rooms are small and "old" not only in the style - the bathrooms frozen as lacking of an heating system. We changed room because of some bad smell and could choose between 2 available: 1 with less smell, the other one where somebody just smoked in. Basic breakfast, didn't really satisfied us in quality and choices.

Smoke in corridor. Cloaksmell in coridor. Not helpful stuf. Not clean towels. Not water for sale in hotel. Not posible to open window. Disko under our room. Bed was chaking to 04.00. Very noisy from room beside. Not possible to sleep.

Vaatii hyvät unenlahjat
Pidin hotellista, henkilökunta oli ystävällistä ja huoneet kauniita. Olin yhden yön standard-huoneessa ja toisen junior suitessa joka oli hulppea kunhan jaksaa kiivetä sokkeloisia portaita. Aamiainen oli minusta aivan ok, gluteenitonta leipää ei ollut mutta muuta syötävää kyllä gluteenittomallekin. Hotellin alakerrassa oli yökerho, joka oli auki neljään aamulla. Bassoaan jumputus tuntui kehossa sviittiin asti, mutta ystävällinen henkilökunta kantoi minulle ison kasan peittoja ja tyynyjä, jotta pääsin nukkumaan sviitin poreammeessa niiden päällä 😃 siellä uni tuli, viimein. Harmi että keksin soittaa apua vasta kolmen tunnin pyörimisen jälkeen. Ystäväni ei ole yhtä herkkäuninen, hän nukkui hyvin sängyssä eikä kärsinyt asiasta.

The breakfast staff were aggressive. Even before the breakfast hours were over, they started to clear away the food and started to mop the floor, to make us leave faster. They even turned off the lights 10 minutes before the breakfast hours ended. The actually food wasn’t so good, but the service was horrible.

Rentouttava yksin tapahtuva lomamatka. Iso miinus huoneeni ( nro 130) alapuolella oleva karaoke baarin musiikin jyske alkuillasta yöhön saakka niin että vuode tärisi. Ikkunan ulkopuolella oleva jokin kone, ilmastointilaite tms. Piti muun ajan( baarin ollessa hiljaa), huolen metelistä. En siis nukkunut toisena yönä lähes tulkoon ollenkaan. Aamiainen hyvä ja monipuolinen. Kokolattiamatot käytävillä/ yleisissä tiloissa, astmaatikolle erittäin henkeä ahdistavat.

4 floors no elevator, so not for restricted people
Hotel is a 4 floors of labyrinth. No elevators. Not friendly staff. But building is nice and in excellent location. No aircon, so rooms in upperfloors can be hot on summer. Breakfast wasn't anyhow special, fairly limited selection but edible. But in the end be happy if you got an option to travel around.

The owner was very kind and he was ready to help anything. and the hotel itself was like a ‘old castle museum’!! I took many photos inside the hotel . very antik style, like real okd castle !!

Definitely not a 4-star.
The rudeness of the younger guy at reception had quite a comedic value. Never seen anything like that in decades of travelling. There's slight mold smell throughout the hotel. I was given a wrong room, not the one I booked. The room wall was so thin I could hear everything from the next room. Normal quiet talking, phone calls, all very clearly. Hallways have squeaky floors, which will wake you up every time someone walks by. Breakfast extremely mediocre, don't even dream about bacon. There are plenty of better hotels to choose from, so this was my first and last stay at this place. Realistic star rating for this place is somewhere around 2.5.
