“A satisfied customer”

My stay at this hotel was quite enjoyable. the location and maintenance of hotel was fine. The fromt desk clerks at some points were rude and unpleasant but overall i had a good stay. it was not hard to find and the environment was always kept clean. The rooms were well kept and cozy but the bathroom was small!

“Tour of South Florida”

The low point of this stay was the weather which of course the property has nothing to do with (it was showering most of my stay). Otherwise, all was great. Everyone was nice and the property was clean and comfortable. Considering the price, an excellent return on investment!

“Dirty, Dirty, Dirty”

My room was the size of my kid's bedroom. A person couldn't actually use the toilet easily because the bathroom door open and stopped in front of it. Although my linens were changed each day, I noticed things on the floor day after day(4 days) that should have been vacuumed up. t didn't appear it was vacuumed daily. Everything was old and run down. There wasn't enough seating in the complimentary breakfast eating area. I found mold on a bagel I grabbed. The elevator had various trash/items in it each time I used it. I saw staff in the hotel each day and I wondered why they wouldn't keep it cleaner. The curtains in my room wouldn't stay closed so I had to paper clip them together in order to have privacy and keep out the light in the morning. Overall the place was tired. old and dirty. Each day when I left I would have to exit the hotel onto the road and make a u-turn up the street. Problem is the street is very busy and others are trying to do the same. Just very inconvenient to do every time I left the hotel.

“No Frills but does what it has to do”

We were looking for a place to rest our heads after checking out some sports games while in Miami. So this while not in an ideal location did the trick. It was cheap, clean, safe and did what it needed to do. It was our 2nd time staying here and its pretty much your standard motel/hotel type. Not fancy at all but you dont stay in a hotel like this for style. A few minor complaints. The breakfast selection was worse than normal (even for continental). There was a small hole in the wall near the bathoom, The bathroom door was hard to close as it had no handle and the clock was not set in the room, yet somehow the alarm randomly rang. The small old iron was real cheapo and had water in it...9/10 times that will rust your clothing. The neighbourhood is meh....nothing to eat within walking distance. Good thing is there are two pharmacies next door i guess. These are kinda minor depending on what you are looking for. IF you want snazzy then sttay on Miami Beach or elsewhere. But if you are a frequent visitor or someone with family in Tamarac and have a good deal, then go for it.

Area recommendations

If you want to stay in the burbs of Broward, perhaps Plantation or the proper of Lauderdale or Hollywood. If you want to Stay in the heart of whats happening of Dade county then South Beach...if not perahaps Downtown Miami is for you.

Events and shows

Sports fan? A weekend where the Dolphins, Head, Hurricanes play. If you can fit the Panthers, or Nascar or the Marlins then do it!!!!!!!!!!

“Not That Impressed”

The room itself was very comfortable. When we checked in we were supposed to have a smoking room but the room we were given was not and we had to change rooms. Also they had a laundry room w/1 washer and 1 dryer but you had to go to the nearest store to buy laundry detergent. Overall, staff was pretty friendly and helpful.

“Uncomfortable location”

The room was great except the water is yellow. The area the hotel is located in did not at all put my family and I in a comfort zone that we cancelled our stay after the first night because we did not feel my teenage daughter would be safe. We were visiting my terminally ill grandfather and Marjorie at the front desk was fantastic, but we will not stay there in the future.
