I enjoyed my stay, the staff were very helpful in finding my way around. Especially George who made sure he hurried breakfast out so I could eat before I had to catch my flight. Thanks again George

Good Bang for the Buck!

Comfort Suites near Raymond James Stadium was good deal for the dollar. It was very clean and comfortable. While it is located primarily in an industrial park area, it was very convenient for our purposes which were to attend a couple of Yankees spring training games. Many restaurants with in 3-5 miles and about the same to Yankees Legends field. Staff was excellent, with kudos to Starr and Amber!!!

Close to family for a week end visit.

The Hotel is clean and the staff very courteous. Check-in was very fast and easy. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the Hotel provided a choice of pillows, soft and firm. We chose a suite with a sitting area. The sitting area contained a sleeper sofa, arm chair, coffee table, an office chair and desk/work station with ample electrical connections for a computer and phone/ipad charging (we had 2 phones, a laptop, and an ipad all charging at once. The furniture and beds are dated but in good condition. The bathroom was clean and efficient. The shower, at times, had low water pressure but adequate hot water. For the great price this was a great choice. The breakfast was fair with an adequate choice of breakfast items, eggs, sausage, waffles, bagels, pastry and donuts, choice of cereal and oatmeal. Coffe, tea, milk, juices and yogurt were also available.

how is this hotel rated so high!

Overall this hotel was OK. My family usually stays at homewood suites whenever possible. This was said to be close to Raymond James stadium its not close but it was part our fault as hotels.com does put the mileage to the stadium. It seemed far to us. Also after we came back from the stadium very late our room heater did not work. With a 9 month old, four year old and wife and I in our jams I chose to not have to switch rooms or have them attempt to fix the heat. Poor choice on my part it was in the 30s outside and would have been nice to have heat. After mentioning the heater problem to the front desk they said there was nothing they could do. Breakfast was so so. I don't know how this hotel is rated so well. Even without the heat problem home wood suites is far better in every way. I own a large cleaning company and our room was clean.

Marginal at Best

Hotel was well rated for the price. But I thought it was marginal at best. My TV did not work in my first room. My AC would not work until a couple of interventions in my second room. It was always a struggle to get room keys to work. Breakfast was OK. Staff were good in general and one person was quite sweet and helpful. But I would rate the hotel a 3 at best.

Great location to Tampa, room was comfortable

Pros: The hotel staff, price and location.
Cons: water pressure and the pool and hot tub
Pool didn't look so great, but it wasn't really warm when we were there. The fitness center was nice. The breakfast was good, but get there early, when the hot food runs out, they don't replace at the end. The shower water pressure wasn't the greatest. We enjoyed our 2 day stay overall.
