Bad Experience / Security breach

Shortly after checking in, a man wearing a maintenance shirt used his pass key to enter our room without knocking or announcing himself. He claimed to be replacing a TV remote as we (supposedly) requested. We made no such request. I reported the intrusion to the front desk manager. When we departed the next day there was no apology or acknowledgement of the problem.

Not my best Hampton Inn Experience

I stayed at this Hampton Inn in April of 2015 when going to the Tampa Bay Area. It was not the best stay I've had at a Hampton Inn for a few reasons I will describe below- *The cost after taxes was a few more than $130, high but fair considering the gulfside hotels not far away were starting at $300 a night. *The hotel is well located near the causeway and airport and in what appeared to be a more desirable area of Tampa *The sound separation at this hotel was not good. I could hear people in the nearby rooms and in the hallway more easily than I wish I could *For above said reasons on the noise, I did not sleep well, I lost 4 hours of sleep that night. *The bed could've felt more comfortable, if it was, I'd have probably slept better. *The room came with a TV, desk, and other amenities, but the bathroom did not have a shampoo available. *The breakfast quality here seemed lower than that of other Hampton Inns I stayed at. Overall, I don't regret staying here and I still like Hampton Inn as a Hotel Brand. This experience on this particular trip wasn't great but if another person stayed here, they might think differently.

Hotel is generally OK

Location: One good restaurant nearby which you can enjoy good food together with nice evening view
We stayed for two nights. Since the renovation is ongoing,this affect our stay there. We have double bed room reserved but we actually get one king size bed which has impact on our feeling

Schönes Mittelklassehotel mit guten Service.

Schönes Hotel auf einer Halbinsel, nah zum Fluß Richtung Clearwater. Leider ist in dieser Gegend nichts zu Fuß zu erreichen, auch in der näheren Umgebung gibt es nicht viel. Man braucht auf jeden Fall ein Auto und muss die starkbefahrenen Straßen nutzen. Aber für 2-3 Tage voll ausreichend.

Worst Hampton Experience

Pros: Location
Cons: Management and staff.
Location: Airport very convenient.
Poor room condition. Light shining through door jambs made it impossible to get room dark. Poor mattresses. General manager dropped several loud F-bombs while speaking to his staff right in ear-shot of guests while we were waiting at the front desk....very crude and rude! In spite of being renovated we will never return to this property.

Hotel Construction during Stay.

When I booked our trip back in Oct. I was not made aware that our Hotel would be under Construction during our stay. My girlfriend was not feeling well all weekend, and could not get any sleep do to the non stop drilling and working going on outside of our room. I spoke with one of the employee's at the time. And said that there was nothing that they could do because the trip was booked through Expedia, and not through myself. I am usually not one to complain, but having to use the rear entrance all weekend, due to ladders and drop clothes in the main lobby, and vending machine, and ice machines not working on our floor. Was not only a hassle , but very aggravating. I think that we should be reimbursed for if not all of our hotel cost, but atleast a portion of it. Hopefully this issue can be resolved and someone can please contact me asap.

Pros: Location, the rooms are very clean, comfortable beds, and a great breakfast bar in the morning.
Cons: Not sure
Location: Beautiful views from the hotel and the sunsets. The Bahamas Breeze restaurant is a short walk with fabulous food and entertainment.
A perfect one night stay, close to the airport and restaurant.

Very Nice Hotel

Pros: The staff was excellent.
Our rooms were very clean and nice. They were remodeling so the hall ways were a little warm with no a/c. However the hotel staff was exceptionally nice. They went out of their way to help in any way they could with anything.
