Pros: clean and in a convenient location to Bush Gardens
Cons: I can't think of anything at this time.
I was very happy with this hotel and would tell everyone I know to stay there when visiting the Tampa area.

Location: near highway and a few fast food areas - I was there for business
The staff was pleasant and helpful, location good, downstairs lobby obviously renovated and inviting. Room was ok but the carpets throughout - all hallways and in room - were stained and dirty. I did not feel comfortable walking around without shoes in my room. I am hoping that a solid cleaning or replacement of carpets is on the "to do" list for this facility. If so, I would go back... if not, then I would find another location for my business travel. Thank you!

I have stayed in many Hilton hotels and this hotel is below the usual Hilton standard. The staff were not helpful upon our early arrival and didn't offer us anywhere to go until we asked if they had a pool (and then we got locked in the pool area because we hadn't been issued with a key). Our room smelled like damp (which the cleaners must have noticed too as we found a DampRid at the side of the sofa on our second night). The room was large, but had little natural or artificial lighting (which wasn't helped by a faulty bulb), so was pretty dark. The fridge had been turned off and so had defrosted and was leaking. The drain plug in the bathroom broke the first time we used it, with a piece of metal from underneath the sink clanging to the floor. The shower was terrible - the shower head had come away from the wall and was just a single function shower head spraying a narrow, sharp jet of water. There was no extractor fan in the bathroom. The UHT milk provided in the room was a month out of date, which I only noticed when it curdled in my drink of tea. We had travelled to Tampa from Orlando where we had stayed at a much nicer Hilton, so it was disappointing to see such a vast difference in quality of the same hotel brand.

The room was clean and easy to find, get around, etc. However, the room kept making strange dinging/banging noises all night making it very difficult to sleep. We had to put a pillow over our heads.. very annoying. The bed wasn't super comfortable either.

Great staff! The hotel needs to be updated. It felt damp and dirty. Also the phones were down the entire time I was staying... This made things difficult. The main level lobby was gorgeous but the rooms did not reflect this! Please fix... This is very misleading!

Pros: Clean. Comfortable.
Cons: WiFI was so-so. Breakfast was not free, in fact it was about $10 apiece. Probably cheaper to stay some place else with free breakfast.
Didn't find out breakfast was not free until after we were done eating. When we complained they said there were signs in the elevator (didn't see any even when we went back and looked).
