Close and convenient.

Pros: Charge for wifi.
Close enough to the Convention Center to walk. I actually used the river walk, as it was a nice trip back and forth along the waterfront.

Convenient to Wells Fargo Ctr

Would recommend getting a room on the executive levels where they have a free breakfast buffet and late afternoon/early evening reception featuring free appetizers and drinks. All parking is valet only.

Tampa Hilton is right in the midst of Downtown Tampa. The hotel offers valet parking. It's reasonable and the staff is helpful at all hours of the day. The room was nice, if uneventful. I like the bedding.

Pretty and Comfortable

Posted Apr 13, 2015
Pros: The beds are THE VERY BEST THING. I have never fallen asleep so fast or so comfortably - no exaggeration. The staff is also extremely helpful.
Cons: Our fridge didn't work, and we didn't discover that until we opened it on the last day of our four-day stay. Oops. Parking and internet were pricey.
Location: It's a convenient walk to watch the Lightning play or visit the River area.
A very pleasant place. It's just fancy enough to make you feel awesome about yourself, but not so overwhelming that it's uncomfortable. Beware that hotels don't get this nice by giving things away for free - you'll have to pay for a lot of the amenities. But the basics are worth it, and for better or for worse this is one of the best deals you'll get downtown.

50/50

Posted Apr 6, 2015
Pros: Close to Tampa University, walking distance
Cons: Cleanliness of bathroom
Location: Nice restaurants
Staff was great. Room service the food was good, but there were hidden costs, delivery charge and gratuity was included even on small charges. Pool was disappointing. Beds were comfy, but bathroom wasn't that clean.

Overpriced hotel

Posted Mar 3, 2015
The hotel jacks up the prices for the time of the Florida Bar, and I definjtelt overpaid. The tub wouldn't drain properly and I found black marks on my pillows.

Close to the convention center

The courtyard was very loud and it would have been nice to have more dining options. The staff was extremely friendly and the food was quite good.

Good night sleep

I was staying here because I needed to be walking distance to the convention center. I have stayed here before and really enjoy the hotel. The bedding is awesome.
