Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites New Tampa I-75

Lobby was being refurbished. Was not aware of this when I booked.

We enjoyed our stay. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the free drink upon check-in, the large breakfast buffet, and the ice cream. I enjoyed talking to Judy at the front desk and to our host, George. If we're ever in the area again we'd stay there again.

Quality of overall service

Our room was not clean. There was somebody's hair everywhere and dark spots on linens

Was kept up all night by a faulty AC unit to which I did not even receive an apology from customer service the following morning when I expressed my lack of sleep and concern. I demand that I be reimbursed reward mileage to my account for paying for total inconvenience.

I stayed in this hotel one night while in Tampa for business. Although they mistakenly assigned me to the wrong room and I had to change rooms a couple of hours later, I still give this hotel and staff the highest of marks. The staff was very friendly and helpful and extremely apologetic for the mix-up. When you check in, they offer you the choice of a free water or beer to take with you to the room. I chose the Yeungling and it was excellent! I thought that was a great personal touch. Additionally, they have free ice cream in the lobby every night from 8-10 pm. The room was very spacious and clean. The free Wi-Fi was very easy to set up. I was very pleased and would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Tampa area.

The front desk staff were extremely nice & helpful! Great place :) Oh and free ice cream at night is a big win :)

We stayed at the holiday Inn for 5 nights after driving up from miami, on arrival we were greeted by the manager and receptionist who we very friendly and welcoming, and we were offered a complimentary bottle of beer or water. Our room was very clean and comfortable their were coffee and tea making facilities and clean towels were replaced daily if reguested.The hotel provided a complimentary breakfast, that catered for all tastes and preverences. Each evening a freezer was located in the reception area with ice creams for guest, which we thought this was a nice gesture. All staff were friendly throughout our visit and they were more than happy to accomadate our every need. There were restaurants and a cinema in walking distance although you did have to cross a busy road to get to them. This is the 3rd time we have stayed at this hotel and we would recommend it for families, couples and groups.
