Pros: The staff!!!
Cons: There should have been at least one more person checking everyone in. No reason for any of us to have to wait in line so long.
Location: Excellent area but difficult to get around. Traffic, at times, made negotiating an unknown area difficult.
My wife and I were check in by a staff that was remarkable. She was the only one available to check in a long line of customers and managed to not only assure everyone that she would be timely in checking us in but would assure we got the room we requested. In the midst of the check-in chaos, this person was answering a constant ringing phone and never missed a beat. Bravo to her!!! I do not know her name but surely she deserves a pat on the back and a raise.

HIE Stay Tampa

Pros: Staff, Cleanliness, Updated decor
Cons: Air Conditioning System
Location: Several good food choices within 3 miles
The staff was very polite and professional, even giving the fact I strolled in to register at midnight. The electronic key also worked on the first try. I hate when it's late, everyone is tired and the front desk mis-programs the key card and you end up having to go all way back down. Didn't happen here! The only thing I can say that was slightly frustrating was the wall A/C (PTAC Unit) was either way too cold or too warm. It didn't regulate the room temperature very well.

Didn't get in till 1:30 am but the guy at the desk front was great. Very helpful and nice.

Too noisy to sleep!

Pros: Close to the airport & shuttle service.
Cons: Reduce the noise level of the ventilation system and allow guests to turn it off.
Price ok. Shuttle service ok. Room size ok. The noise coming from the air ventilation system was so incredibly loud we were unable to sleep! After flying & travelling all day & just wanting a good nights sleep, we were very frustrated that we could not turn off the system! It would shut off & then come on again every 5 minutes! It doesn't matter how clean the room is or how comfortable the bed is...if the system is that loud it is impossible to sleep!

Dear Valued Guest: On behalf of The Holiday Inn Express & Suites, please accept my apology for your unpleasant stay. The AC's are being looked at for its noise. after having the maintenance look at itwe have fornd that it's the outside AC.

Yankee land

Best feature is proximity to Yankee spring training field. Hotel staff was friendly and efficient. Breakfast was plentiful and convenient. Air conditioner was too loud to sleep through. Amenities should include hand lotion. Please provide a list of tv channels.

Shuttle service

Pros: Hotel itself was clean.
Cons: Shuttle needs vast improvements. The hottub wasn't working and the pool was dirty.
The shuttle service at this hotel was unacceptable. At the airport we waited for almost 2 hrs for the shuttle to come and had to call them 4 times! Then it was supposed to be a free shuttle to a restaurant and again couldn't get a shuttle, then hotel staff offered to take us in 2 different vehicles, couldn't find the restaurant and then finally I just wanted to be dropped at the nearest restaurant. To get the shuttle back, I had to call 3 times just to get them to show up! I won't be coming back!

Nothing in order

Told me my room was ready got there it wasnt. Took my money for a suite gave me regular room and lie about how much i was being charged. The breakfast was nasty. The only thing right the room was clean.

Not an airport hotel

While the internet listing showed it to be at the airport, it was a $20 taxi ride away (we arrived shortly after midnight so the hotel shuttle bus was no longer available). Otherwise, the hotel itself and the breakfast were fine and fully met expectations.

we booked to be close to the airport

Pros: complimentary breakfast
Cons: the hot tub had cold water
Location: we stayed overnight. no expectations
we expected to be in the main hotel however we were placed in the annex which formerly was the comfort inn. the accommodations were okay, but the switch was a disappointment
