Pros: the hotel its was very nice and a great location but would not book again because of this issue!
we booked and paid for this hotel room 3 weeks before we visited,requested a non-smoking room which we assumed we would have when we arrived at the hotel,but were told that because we booked with Expedia we were not guaranteed a non- smoking room...we were given a smoking room the was very disgusting and we were not happy but we had not choice because we told that all the smoking room were full.

This was a last minute request and it went over smoothly. The staff were nice and efficient, a decent stay if you're just looking to put your head down and crash.

Why I stay at Hamptons.

Prepaid for a king non-smoking room on Expedia. Non-refundable. Was given a smoking room with the excuse being when you use/prepay through a third company we can't guarantee your request. Was essentially an "oh well" from the hotel staff. No apology. Won't use Expedia again for hotels or use a Howard Johnson. Aside from that, even if I had been given a nonsmoking room, the room quality and breakfast was more than disappointing given the price paid.

Pros: The value for the price
The Lady at check in was awsome, very friendly helpfull for a place to eat, just a super lady, I think her name was candiss not sure. She even called me in my room after a few minuts and made sure all was good in the room. The place wasnt in the high end of town but wher all the exspensive places are but was just fine. Lots of eaterys around within a short drive, clean pool clean room with all the nessary essentials. Over all one of my best esperiences in a hotel stay. Great price for what you get. J.

The hotel was okay. in an okay neighborhood. Furniture was kind of old, especially TV. The breakfast is just okay, on a Sunday at 8:45 a.m. (breakfast is until 9) they stopped refilling stuff, no apple juice/yogurt . On monday there still was no yogurt....Wish there was more selection of fruits/cereals. They had oatmeal packets but no hot water... Overall it wasn't too bad, the guy at front desk was friendly enough. Probably wouldn't stay here again because of location.
