“Overall pleased, would go back”

The hotel was great for the cost. Pleased with the appearance, cleanliness and overall comfront.Room clean, mattress comfrontable. In tampa for the marathon weekend. Walking distance to start of race.The hotel shuttle was handy and we did use it go downtown to eat at the spaghetti factory and Bennigans. the only thing that we were disappointed in is sunday the hotel had hot water problems and the part would not be till later eve but it still did not solve problem. Upper floors did not have hot water, so they sent us to another room to use the shower but it was not cleaned. next day still no hot water, called front desk and really had no solution for us apolgized but offered ther bkft buffet which really was bad.

“Great Location and Good front desk service”

I originally booked a room with a King-sized bed because I was traveling with my wife and two sons (both are less than 2 years old). When I got to the hotel and went up to the room, I realized that the person at the front desk had put me into a room with two Queen-sized beds are virtually no space for the kids. I was not happy about that room, so I went and spoke to the Front-desk manager. He was very generous, apologized profusely and then upgraded me to a suite on the top floor witha king-sized bed and more than enough room for me and my family. I am happy to know that this location has good service and that they were willing to fix their mistake and go above and beyond my expectation. Also, I participated in a wedding that was held across the street at the Straz Center for Performing Arts. This hotel was and ideal location for any events taking place at the Center or in the the downtown area.

“Friendly and reasonable”

The hotel is a friendly place with a cafe and a small bar. It is on a trolley line. If the trolley is not running , the van will take you anywhere. Pool area looked nice. River walkway beautiful. Walked area with not problems.

“Will be going back!!”

The hotel staff was amazing. They really went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. The room was beautiful and we had a great view of the city and the Performing Arts Center. The only negative was we wanted to go swimming around 2 am and we were unable to because the pool closes after dark

“Good location, friendly staff”

Hotel staff was friendly and courteous, no problems with check-in, excellent shuttle service, had everything I needed. Room was a little smaller than I expected from looking at the pictures, but no problems with anything.

“Most comfortable bed in Tampa”

We were so pleased w/this hotel, we decided we'll make this our regular place to stay in Tampa. The room had a beautiful view from the 10th floor, bed sheets soft and clean, hotel staff was very friendly and professional. Downstairs restaurant food was good. Housekeeping staff was very efficient. Everything from lights to cable T.V. worked fine. Shower had more than enough water pressure. We were not asked to pay anything for parking. This hotel deserves each of its stars. Thank you HOJO.
