Pros: Everything except the internet services
Cons: Not charging for internet access (I would prefer to pay extra for a room and get wifi included). Mindset thing I realise but I thought it was strange
Location: It was close to the airport which was great. I was only there for a night in transit but there was a great looking shopping mall across the road.
I decided on getting a mystery deal and I was really impressed. The hotel provided free parking which was great. The hotel was beautiful and all the staff were so welcoming. The girls that I death with were friendly and the gentlemen that delivered my food was so nice. I went there to get away for a night and the staff made it very pleasant. The room was decorated nicely and the bed was comfortable. Plus, the towels were the softest ones that I have ever used in a hotel. Overall very impressed. The only downfall I think was the internet. I had to pay around 15/night (which isn't expensive) but I have never stayed in a hotel where the wifi wasn't free.

Good leisure & business hotel

Hotel is located in a good location, across from a mall that has dining options, and close to lots of retail outlets for everyday essentials. It has direct shuttle service between the hotel and airport, which immediately eliminate hassles from the airport. The hotel restaurants is a bit over priced for the food they served, but good atmosphere. The staff at the check-in counter is a hit or miss. A couple of the ladies are somewhat snobby while one other was pleasant and courteous.

Great Hotel

Cons: Let guests know the refrigerators have sensors, and if you move things around, you may get charged for it.
Location: Channelside is a great tourist spot with live bands there as well.
The staff was awesome, and the whole place was very appealing, and I would stay there again whenever I go back.

Loved my Birthday Weekend!

Pros: Convienient location! Many shops and restaurants near by!
Cons: Parking is free but, parking in the garage is a hassle... I lost my car one night because I couldn't remember where I parked and it was so confusing!
Very nice staff, beautiful rooms, very comfortable. Convienient to many restaurants, the mall, and the interstate!

Ideal for my situation.

Pros: personnel was super! From valet service to front desk, room servers, etc. excellent!
biggest problem was getting into bed -- I'm short, hard to get in and out of bed.

Location: Close to UT, shopping, and great restaurants.

parking a nightmare!

The hotel was amazing. Within walking distance to a nice mall and good restaurants. Easy access to Interstates 275 and 75. The only problem was the parking garage. The spaces were for compact cars and people were parking in them with large vehicles. It was a crazy to try to fit into the teeny tiny spaces plus get out of the vehicle. Otherwise, wonderful hotel.

No frills hotel

Pros: Close to a mall, if that matters.
I was disappointed in this hotel. The hotel joins with a bank, and the views out the room window are directly into the bank offices across the lobby, so you'll need to keep the blinds closed tight. There are no major amenities. No pool, gym etc. Wifi is not complimentary, and very expensive ($14/day USD). The bedding was rock solid, and very uncomfortable to try and sleep on. The shower is very old-style, and the tubs did not drain well. You will end up showering in water that comes up to your ankle bone.

Not the usual Intercontinental Experience

Wifi not free as usual I was there 2 days got charged for three Front desk staff unfriendly and condescending Charged for 8 items in Mini bar but only drank a diet Pepsi Ate dinner in Shulas poor service Ate breakfast in Shulas had to beg for service and check Printer wouldn't work and could not get boarding passes Shuttle driver to airport was really nice; he should be the guy at the front desk! Only nice person I encountered at Intercontinental Tampa!
