DO NOT STAY HERE

Posted Nov 9, 2014
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
The hotel didn't look too bad on the internet when I booked it, but was TOTALLY different when we got there. The check-in person had her pack of cigarettes laying on the counter, she was not very professional, acted like we were interrupting her life. Also, we had several bags and were given a second floor room and the hotel did not have an elevator. Walking around back to use the stairs to get to our room, there was a couple "seedy" looking people just hanging around, doing nothing. When we walked into the room, there was a bug crawling on the wall. The room was VERY small and didn't look anything like it showed on the internet. Checking it out a little more, there was hair in the sink and the plug, which also had hair on it, was sitting on top of the vanity. Upon checking out the bathroom, we found that we were given 1 washcloth and 2 towels, and this was for 3 people!!! When I went to the office to get more towels, the front door was locked and there was a sign saying "be back shortly". I waited for about 10 minutes, nobody returned. Checking later, the clerk was there but I could only talk to her throught a window, another clue that this was a seedy neighborhood. She did give me the towels I requested but acted like I was bothering her. When we went for the "included breakfast" the next morning, there was a waffle maker and orange "drink", hardly the breakfast they advertised. This was, by far, the absolute worst place I have ever stayed.

Close to the Jimmy Buffett concert

Sucked! The bathroom was a joke, very dirty. Very few towels. The room itself hole in wall, needs drywall & painting. We asked for extra pillows, they said NO, that housekeeping went home already. After the concert, we checked out, did not want to stay another minute longer. Oh, to check out at night, we had to use a security window, the lobby was locked up. WORST hotel I have ever been in. And I have been in some very poor hotels.

filth

Sheets were worn through. Bathtub had scum. Toilet had shower curtain had black curly hair on them. The sink had no handle to turn it on the water, although the fix it guy was up in minutes to fix it and had a great attitude. Remote control for the tube style tv was greasy. Towels had stains and hair on them. Furniture had cigarette burns on them ( non) smoking room. Drapes were torn. Check in girl was fine. BREAKFAST! Are you kidding me? Toast was stale, waffle station was sticky with a dead fly lying near the plastic wear. Requested a late check out. I was granted a 1 hour after check out normal time, not helpful at all. Check out is at 11am I was granted until noon HOWEVER! My door was knocked on every ten minutes to ask me when I was checking out. Had I known that many hotels surrounded the area I would have paid the xtra ten dollars to stay in a much more accommodating hotel

NEVER Stay Here!

Posted Apr 1, 2014 on Hotels.com
The only reason we stayed at this motel was because it was 1 mile from the Fairgrounds and we were participating in a big Food Truck festival at the Fairgrounds and needed to plug the truck in. It was horrible! Dirty, holes in the walls, no water pressure, leaking mini fridge, only static on the TV, could NOT get more than 1 clean towel a day (for a Double room). It was cheap but not worth it!

Great customer service bad room

The sheets had cigarette burns. Pillows looked old. Walls were dirty. Carpet was dirty. Spiders and roaches all over the outside. The only positive side is that they have great customer service.

Their continent breakfast consisted of coffee and toast and make your own waffle. Juice too. No dining area.

Not the best

Posted Mar 17, 2014 on Hotels.com
There were no towels in the room and took for ever to get them and only would give one set per person. The Wi-Fi was no to be found except in the office, that did not have space for you to work. The second night had to get towels again. It was 8:15p and the desk clerk would not allow me in the lobby. Had to return because the key would not work. I would not stay there again. I really needs some improvement.
