Very nice stayPosted Jun 16, 2014
Pros: I like the clean room. The hot tub was another plus.
Cons: a few more towels would be nice.
Location: The location was good. There were plenty of restaurants that were within walking distance.
We were only staying in Tampa for one night. The hotel was wonderful. When I checked in, I found that I was the "guest" of the day. This entitled me to one night free parking and a late check out. I was very excited to find this out. The hotel staff were very friendly. The hot tub was great. Not too hot like a lot of places. The pool was quiet and clean with plenty of seats. The room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The only down was that they were stingy with the bath and hand towels. But we just had to ask.

Needs updatePosted May 3, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff - great beds - nice breakfast - clean.
Cons: Furniture is definitely worn out and needs replacing
Location: Very convenient and nice location in Tampa. Safe and secure car parking, although had to pay extra for it!!
We enjoyed our stay and the facility was clean and well kept except that the furniture was definiteley showing lots of wear. To make this a top-notch hotel, they need to get new furnishings. Furniture obviously needs replacing. Beds were very comfortable!!

Great hotel ,location is not ideal for walking.Posted Apr 27, 2014
Pros: The suite size of the room, the cleanliness of the hotel, and the free shuttle service.
Cons: More communication at the front desk so that our boarding passes could get printed. Perhaps they should have a concierge.
Location: The hotel is close to some attractions , such as Ybor City historic district, the Aquarium, and the Convention center.
The hotel was very clean, both in the room and around the grounds. The hotel is not in walking distance to anything, including restaurants. That is why it is great that there is breakfast included in the room rate. The breakfast was very good with many hot options, fresh fruit, and even yogurt! The hotel has a shuttle that can bring you anywhere within a 2 mile radius and we made great use of this service. The pool area is really nice with a firepit, outdoor barbecue, and hot tub. The room are spacious with full kitchen, even with a full size refrigerator. Everyone was very nice and helpful. The only negative on staff is when I was told they could print out our flight boarding passes, so we could do some sightseeing. They did not print them out and consequently my daughter and I could not sit together on our flight back and was boarded a the very end. If I had known that they were not going to do what they said they could, I would have stayed at the hotel and printed them myself!

Excellent proximity to the Tampa Conference CenterPosted Apr 13, 2014
Pros: It had everything I needed.
Wonderful staff. Excellent breakfast. Free dinners, wine and beer on MTW evenings. Free coffee all day long. Free internet access/computers. Nice pool, hot tub, basketball area. Marriott Courtyard is across the courtyard from the Residence Inn and there is also food service there with Starbucks coffee and some nice sandwiches. Free shuttle service to places within 2 miles of the hotel.

Great staff !Posted Mar 19, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff, comfortable beds and nice size rooms. The free shuttle to and from the hockey game was seamless !!
Cons: The internet service in the lobby (to print from computer) was hopeless. Our room wifi was good, but we heard others complaining about their room wifi
Location: Great location, very close to major expressways with very easy access and little traffic.
All the staff were cheerful, friendly and helpful. They greeted us every time we walked by the desk, wishing us safe travel. Great breakfast (included) and evening "social" which was more like a complimentary dinner with refreshments ! Airport shuttle would have been nice , but they did have a recommended private service that did the job well. Nice private, quiet courtyard with pool, hot tub , BBQ and outdoor fire feature. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Biggest problem was no valet service and no covered parking. I had to go across the street to an open lot in rainy weather.

I will use this hotel again!Posted Jan 24, 2014 on Hotels.com
The staff at this hotel were amazing and always super nice! I will use this hotel again if I need to be in downtown Tampa again. The only thing was the pillows were uncomfortable for me because I'm used to feather pillows. Never been to a hotel where ALL of the staff were so nice ALL the time. Loved it!

convenientPosted Jan 7, 2014
Pros: I like it for convenience, price and a good breadfast buffet. They allow us to bring food back to our room. Very client friendly place.
Cons: For what it worth, Not much
We had a late 1130PM check-in. Got a nice suite facing North. Very spacious. The furniture was your average 3 star hotel furniture, but clean and functional. Took a little while to get accustom to the thermostat. It was set on AC when we came from winter NJ. And Tampa wasn't that hot the first nite. But once we made minute adjustments, it became a non issue. Tampa downtown is so clean, quiet and orderly. I was complaining about my suburb NJ area being so conjested that it was a pleasant surprise. Pierre at the front desk gave me a ride at 6:45AM to the local rental car by shuttle. I practiced a little French with him as he is from Cannes. We went to French resturant 4 blocks up one evening for dinner. I recommend this hotel,
