Excellent service not great check in staff

Check in staff was never upset that we booked on expedia and not at the hotel, she told us she was going to give a downgraded room and we would have to wait 1-2 hours for our room(we arrived at 7pm). Finally got everything staightened out and checked in and the whole rest of te stay was amazing, the best of the best amenities! Amazing rooms, modern, larger and very clean. No detail is forgotten

Greatest Hits (But a Few Misses, Too)

Pros: Decent parking, close to highways, clean property, diverse restaurant selection, professional staff.
Cons: I would have liked the room I asked for when I booked several months prior to the trip.
Location: Within a few minutes of most attractions (Busch Gardens, MOSI, Lowry Park Zoo, Florida Aquarium) and near a few good places to eat off-site.
My wife and I checked in late due to a delayed flight and a mishap at the car rental pickup. The staff was incredibly courteous and professional the entire week. It wasn't overcrowded or loud like a lot of hotel/casinos I've stayed at. Maybe because the clientele skews a little older. We are in our early-mid 30s and felt like kids there. Unfortunately, we did not get the room we asked for when we booked. We were supposed to get a Deluxe King with separate tub and shower but we were put in a double-queen room with tub/shower combo. We spoke to the front desk but they said they had none available and to try the next day. Rather than lugging all of our stuff to another room we just dealt with it. Also, the TV in the room would power on but the remote did not work, nor did any of the buttons on the TV itself. We weren't in the room much so we let it go. The restaurants in the hotel were great and we particularly loved Rise Bakery. We got dessert there every night of our trip. We tried the Fresh Harvest buffet with low expectations due to poor buffets we've been to in the past (in Vegas, for example) but it was actually good. The pool area was awesome. It was never busy and we got all the pool and hot tub time we needed. Overall we would probably stay again and maybe we could have pushed the room issue a little more, but we had a great vacation anyway.

Rooms were gorgeous and very clean. We arrived at 4:45 and had to wait 30 minutes for our room to be ready, but worth the wait.

We were quoted a very high priced hotel room and ended up with a standard room. A bit of a disappointment. Thought we paid for luxury,not standard

Good facilities at the hotel, comfortable beds and nice touches like the iPod dock. Word of warning about the casino - no free alcoholic drinks from the waitresses! This is no Vegas....

great room but over priced and bad parking

terrible parking and extremely over priced. I felt watched by security while admiring the music memorabilia, which is why I booked the hotel in the first place. The caution about sensors on the mini bar was good when I checked in but made me feel very nickel and dimed for the price of the room. I would visit the restaurant and shops again but never book again.

The room was very clean and the only complaint I have is that it took a while for the hot water to come on.
