Great, but they couldn't find Expedia's res.

Pros: The lobby and back patio were exquisite. The entire hotel was clean and the staff was friendly to all of us.
Cons: The toilet water in the hotel room had problems filling the entire time. For some reason the coffee shop in the hotel closes quite early.
Location: The location was on the water and there was a river walk to see things nearby. Though there are not as many things to do nearby as we hoped.
The hotel was good and the employees were great. The hotel, unfortunately, was unable to find expedia's reservation. They checked for quite sometime. It was fortunate for me that they still had rooms available. There were several conventions and a wedding that week.

Close to Amalie Arena.

Pros: We loved the breakfast buffet.
Cons: For the price of the rooms they should make the internet complimentary.
Location: Went to a concert at the Amalie Arena.
Made my reservations almost 2 months in advance because of how close it is to the Amalie Arena and it's a Marriott I knew it would be nice. I asked for a water view with one large bed. When we got there we got the water view with 2 single beds. We tried to get it changed but that didn't work out. The internet fee is $12.95 to $17.95 depending on what service you want which I thought for the $350 a night room charge it should have been complimentary. Also over night parking at the hotel was $24.95 per night. Champions is the sports bar there and one beer is a little more then $9.00. It's a nice hotel but way over priced.

Pros: Location and food and drink options on site.
Location: Riverwalk, Tampa Lightning hockey. Great patios and bars close by.
Awesome. Location and amenities. Great pool and pool bar.

Nice Hotel Beatiful view

Pros: Great location, beatiful view
Cons: More telephone operators, you have to call many times in order that some one answer the phone.
Location: In front of the bay, near the Arena and the River Walked.
They should ask you before that your are going to get a handicap room. The problema is that the design of the shower makes the soap and wáter run all over the bathroom.

I was traveling on business and was quite pleased with my stay. The hotel is nice and clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. It's centrally located in downtown Tampa.

Overpriced

I was in Tampa for a night and wanted to stay in the vicinity of downtown. I have stayed at other Marriott hotels in the past and I'm usually impressed with the condition and service. I was pleased with the location and convenience of this hotel but the nightly rate was extremely overpriced. Five star price for an average 3 star room.

Our cruise was cancelled so we had to book this hotel last minute. We were suppose to have a king bed but we got two doubles instead. Disappointing but great customer service- much better than the Embassy Suites across the street. Embassy Suites have better rooms but they are lacking in the customer service department.
