This place is ok for one night. Too much noise when you try to sleep since houses are so closed to each other. You can actually hear when the neighbors are talking or babies are crying

The atmosphere was peaceful and quiet, perfect for a stressless stay. We booked the Aisha room, that was decorated with ancient luminous typical furniture. Breakfast was included, and consisted of various kinds of moroccan bread, fresh orange juice, and hot drinks. We had nice discussions with the manager and the staff, all very gentle and passionate about the city of Tetuan. I woudn't consider any other stay if I came back to Tetuan.

No city view and hard mattress for the 3rd person
I booked for 3 persons double bed with a city view unfortunately, this hotel has no city view and they offered us a queen bed instead of double bed. They provided us for the 3rd person a very hard mattress. The room is too small as well. Not worth the price. The Location is a plus!

Hello, Blanco Riad is a riad, meaning that is a house inside the medina, very normal that don't have views. It will normally happen in riads. If you want views you need another type of hotel. All our rooms have queen bed and we inform about this in expedia website, this is public. I am sorry if we didn't accomplish your expectations but is worth it to be informed before we travel.

Wonderful Grand Suite, mediocre restaurant
The Grand suite an a huge, charmingly decorated dream of Morocco with a great shower and the whole Riad looks great. Staff were very helpful, but the dinner we had there was just edible.

great experience 1st night in Morocco
we booked this hotel by mistake when looking for a place to stay close to Tangier, but were happy with the choice we made. Staff at the hotel went above and beyond, and trully exceeded any expectations we had. They even cooked us a meal at 11:30 at night when we arrived late from the ferry. It is also a very unique experience to stay at Riad in Morocco, and I would highly recommend this place to any traveler who is making the way from Tangier to Fez, etc.

Pretty road in center of the city
Room was small and parking a bit distant, but the riad was pretty, staff was nice, and you're right downtown (by the royal palace).

Sometimes the cheaper rooms are better!
We stayed in two different rooms on our stay - the cheaper double room was the nicer room. Although it was very slightly smaller than the second room, it was in better shape and was a better set-up than the second room. If you have the chance - don't bother upgrading to the mid-level double suite - take the cheapest room. Also, about Tetaouen generally, the town is very nice to visit, but there are very few (basically no) mid-range restaurant options. You either have to go to one of the two expensive (for Morocco) restaurants in a hotel, or to a fast-food type restaurant.

Take the cheaper room, if you have the choice
We spent our first night in a basic double room, then had to move to a double suite. The basic room was much better than the more expensive suite; the suite bathroom had a more awkward arrangement (toilet in the shower) and was generally in a worse state of repair.

Staff was on point! Very helpful but gave the privacy and respect we needed. Lovely breakfast and perfect Moroccan tea. Rooms are done very nice. Modern touches but still holding true to the old Raid feeling. Very clean! We will be back for sure.

Oasis in Tetouan
Beautiful riad with great food. Right on the edge of the medina so location is spot on. Staff and owners courteous and helpful in all matters. Some very sumptious rooms, but the simpler rooms very comfortable and perfect for solo guests. Busy in high season - so be prepared for the sound of running children. Tetouan is often overlooked, but a delightful stop off if coming from Ceuta.

Wonderful and friendly hotel in the Medina
The hotel is in a lovely old Arabic house in the very center of the town next to all the markets...the food was very good and the staff very friendly and helpful. The only downside was the lack of a fridge and hair dryers in the rooms. Also be prepaired to walk a little on arriving/leaving as the hotel is situated in an alleyway and the market in the main street outside is very busy. Other than that I really enjoyed my time there and on leaving felt as if I was leaving home.....

The best shower in Morocco
Our room was large, clean and comfortable. The shower was fabulous - spacious, hot, great water pressure and it drained well. The bed was massive and very comfortable. Breakfast was fine and we ate in the riad restaurant both nights we were here. The food was good. The only negative we had about the hotel was that there seemed to be alot of young people in the lobby that smoked. As a reformed smoker I found this unpleasant. I'm not sure whether the smoke drifted up to our room on the 1st floor or whether a previous occupant had smoked (even though it was supposed to be non-smoking), but our room smelt of stale smoke. It wasn't terrible but we would have preferred it not to have.

The location is very convenient and the riad is small and cosy. It has an amazing patio where to relax while sipping mint tea. The room is comfortable and clean. Service was quite attentive. I will definitely stay again if coming back to Tetouan.

Beautiful and relaxing road truly 4star road staff could not have been nicer. Great location to base oneself to visit Martil Mdiq best beaches in morocco and of course chefchaun the blue city. Tetouan great shopping for gifts good value. Also best place for sandwiches and of course Dallas pastries fantastic.

In the medina
This lovely riad is conveniently located just inside the Tetouan medina, its rooms are comfortable (though requiring climbing stairs), they provide a nice breakfast on the terrace level, and have a very helpful and knowledgable staff (they provided us--three elderly women--with a motorbike escort to find out way out of the city). Highly recommended.

Great place and staff
This was a charming, but hard to find hotel. The staff were great. They met us at a location and then helped us with our luggage to find the hotel. They spoke some English, but mainly our daughter spoke with them in Arabic. We had two rooms, one of which was rather small, but the other room had more space to move around. The staff went above and beyond when we experienced a medical issue, attempting to contact a local doctor and ultimately walking with us to the doctor's office and staying with us at the doctor's office to lead us back to the hotel when done. The smaller room had a stained glass window which let light in the room all night long and the door would not stay closed unless you locked it. Overall, this is a very lovely place to stay with wonderful staff. We did not eat at the hotel, but wish we had been able to stay longer and experience more. I would definitely go back again.

Good Riad in Tetouan
As you might noticed, there're not so many riad/hostels in Tetouan, and this riad was one of the few options I could find online. But eventually this was very nice riad actually. Friendly but polite service, beautiful moroccan building and nice room, and very convenient location.

The blanco riad was a very comfortable and well appointed. All of the staff were most welcoming, friendly and helpful. Following the advice of a previous review I did ask for a quieter room , off the main courtyard, which was a good idea. The riad is loated just at the beginning of the medina. We ate a nearby cafe very cheaply. The breakfast which was included in the price, was good. Overall a very pleasnt experience. I would recommend this riad.

Hotel Blanco Riad Tetuan Morocco
This hotel was a gem! It's location right at the edge of the Medina was perfect for comfortable walking through the market and local sights. The staff was extraordinarily friendly and welcoming. The central court in the hotel was beautiful and the rooms very traditionally appointed and well maintained, clean and comfortable. The on sight restaurant was really a delight with traditional and more modern Moroccan dishes that were exquisitely prepared. Some of the best food we had on our 1 week stay in Morocco! This was one of our favorite places and I would highly recommend and would be anxious to return.

Riad carino, pulito e tranquillo, in posizione davvero strategica. La nostra suite superior Sherazade molto comoda, dormito benissimo, doccia enorme e buoni prodotti di cortesia, unico neo wifi che in camera non prendeva mai, solo stando in piedi di fianco alla porta, questo è stato veramente una grossa pecca. Colazione buona, personale gentile, una sera abbiamo anche cenato presso il ristorante interno e ci siamo trovati bene

Riad très bien entretenu, idéalement placé, belles finitions et belle décoration. Authentique Riad. Pas de place de parking vu que vous êtes centre ville en revanche des parkings couverts pour 30 dirhams la nuit et laisser votre véhicule en sécurité. Nous avons séjourné dans la chambre « Aïcha » certainement la plus grande et la plus jolie de tout le riad. Le petit déjeuner est assez bon, certainement le seul point à améliorer. Vue panoramique en terrasse sur les hauteurs de Tetouan, on peut aussi y boire un café ou un thé en journée ou en soirée c’est assez agréable. Le quartier est assez calme on y dort très bien la nuit, on est réveillé par les petits gazouillis des oiseaux, je recommande à 100% !

Très bon hôtel, dans la médina mais facilement trouvable, un beau Riad marocain avec une très bonne cuisine locale, personnel très accueillant et gentils tous, je retournerais bien à 100 pour cent et je le recommande
