“Our family enjoyed 10 days here”

We recently stayed here for 10 days. My family and I were very impressed with the staff, who were very knowledgeable and helpful whenever we asked for anything at all. The swimming pool was a hit with my son, and it was very clean and nicely maintained. The breakfast- included with our stay- was wonderful, and included a hot buffet each morning. There were also fresh fruits, olives, and several types of local breads, as well as pastries and cereals. The location is very central, and it was just a 15-20 minute walk to the souk market. The beach is just a block away, and there are many restaurants within a few blocks. There is a nice grocery store just 2 blocks away, with everything we could possibly have needed, and our hotel room had a refrigerator, which made it very easy for us to have some "in house" midday meals during Ramadan (our entire visit was during Ramadan). I would return to this place if we have the chance to visit Tangier again.. There is a small and nice office with 2 computers and free internet just off the lobby.

“Great accomodations for budget conscious travelers”

Booked hotel online with not much to go on as far as other reviews. Was a bit hesitant upon arrival as the front entrance does not allow for much parking. We ended up having to park on the road with hazard lights on Luckily after checking in, we were directed to an underground garage for hotel guests. The hotel itself is on a busy road just a block from the beach was very nice. Front desk was friendly enough but not overly so. The room was very nice for the price we paid. Downstairs lounge really went above and beyond to make the weary traveler comfortable. We were there during the week and they had a live band performing Eric Clapton and other easy listening rock tunes. Very nice surprise! Drinks were reasonably priced and staff had a pretty wide knowledge of cocktails. After cocktails we went for a walk on the beach where I injured my foot by stepping on something, came back to hotel and the staff went out of their way to "hook me up" with some first aid. :-) Overall a nice visit and would reccomend to anyone looking for affordable, nice accomodations. My only complaint is this, We awoke rather late and went downstairs for the continental breakfast about 15 mins before the "end" time. Most of the food was already wiped out by other guests, a hazard of arriving late, and normally this would not have bothered me, BUT the wait staff completely ignored us when we walked in and actually started making their own plates. Oh well. C'est La Vie!

“So-so place in Tangier”

For Tangier, this hotel is probably good for the price. It is located close to the beach and easy to get to from the airport (150 dirhams). It's kind of shabby and run down. It's got a pool, and the air conditioning worked very well. Overall, it's so-so, nothing especially good or bad about the place.
