Nice location but otherwise disappointingPosted Mar 1, 2015
Cons: facilities very outdated. no sound privacy between rooms or corridor.
Location: Camelback ski area
Convenient access to Camelback ski area with shuttle bus. Very overpriced considering condition of facilities and limited amenities. Facility needs major updating. Hot tub broken as was most equipment in fitness room. Extra charge for fridge in room. Given high price I was expecting much better. If the price was half what I paid It would be a fair value.

Worst hotel stay of my lifePosted Feb 22, 2015
Convertible sofa more comparable to a medieval rack, breakfast limited and not very enjoyable, the lobby with its limited seating always draughty, far overpriced for what it provides, never ever again

Should be called a motel.Posted Feb 21, 2015
Outrageous price for hotel at the end of its useful life. Needs a serious renovation to stay in business. New hotel will be finished at Camelback this spring 2015. Book there instead and let this one be forced to upgrade.

The room seems to be very old, the carpet was dirty. The elevator do not smell well. Also there is no refrigerator in the room. I think it don't worth the rate.

Close to CamelbackPosted Feb 11, 2015
Pros: Location and mountain views.
Cons: Rooms and pool needs updating
Location: Near ski, snowboarding, tubing.
Very convenient location. Rooms need updating. However, there is an indoor poor and game room. Also the hotel looks out to a lake and Camelback MT.

Closest hotel to the slopes. Poor sound isolation.Posted Feb 7, 2015
Poor sound isolation between the rooms. Noisy neighbors may make your stay very unpleasant. Hotel does not have policy in place in this respect. Quite limited menu at the only restaurant on premises

Convenient to local skiingPosted Feb 6, 2015
Cons: Lobby is not very inviting. Rooms are okay, nothing fancy.
Location: Great for skiing and outlet shopping. Even a little antique mall not far away. Great food at the brewery just down the road.
This hotel is great if you are visiting the Poconos for skiing. Camelback Resort is just "across the pond", literally! Rooms are adequate and staff is very nice. We've stayed here the last three winters when we come for our annual ski get-away.

Overview of Chateau Resort & Conference CenterPosted Feb 4, 2015
Pros: Conveniently located to Camelback Ski Resort. Friendly welcome at front desk. Hotel lobby was very nice with fireplace insert.
Cons: Cleaniness, replace old furniture with updated furniture. Bathrooms were gloomy and old.
Location: Camelback Ski Resort. Main reason for our stay.
Rooms are old and not as clean as they should be. There was MOLD on the shower curtain. YUK! The furniture is OLD. The pull out couch gave me a backache for 3 days. Sorry, but true. Insights from customers will help improve your facility.
