"Awesome hotel"
Great hotel with an incredible view and well located....it is a 15 minute walk to the main strip of Taormina but a steep one done the mountain by stairs....we always walked down but would take the shuttle back up....except once we walked it up and happy we did but once was more then enough for us....despite the distance I would highly still recommend this location for the incredible view.... Staff was incredibly friendly from the beginning when they greeted us and sat us down in front of the most spectacular view of Taormina and etna ....the manager Paulo explained us all about the hotel and the environement ... The rooms were beautiful mix of modern and old but extremely clean with a terrase for us to relax and tan and a little balcony with table to have coffee or whatever and again a beautiful view The food at breakfast was amazing and everything fresh....with a super friendly staff We also ate there once for supper....which I highly recommend again because the food is awesome and you get to have a view that you'll never really get elsewhere.... Again all the staff was always helpful and wanting to make sure we were fully pleased.... Thumbs way up on this place

Pocket Guide: Messina Taormina Romantik Hotels

A balcony setting on Mount Tauro with a sweeping view of Sicily’s coastline and Mount Etna gives Taormina its lasting appeal. It is Sicily’s only truly international resort, much-favoured by celebrities. The old quarter’s steep, narrow alleys are filled with window boxes and painted pottery, and best explored on foot. Main sights are the classical remains and Renaissance palaces. The Greco-Roman theatre is still used for concerts and festivals.
