“Cute and Clean”

We enjoyed the Alpine Lodge very much. The room was clean and comfy. The 10:00 a.m. check-out was a drag, but that is my only complaint!

“Great Hotel for Families”

Room was clean, staff excellent. We went in third week of July. 110 in Oklahoma, 75 max in Red River. Hotel is ideally located at foot of ski lift, tubing, restaurants, and grocery store. We'll be back!!

“Family place”

Older hotel, needs updating, but very fun place to stay. Most economical in RR, I believe

“Good lodging in Red River”

Great location. Just across the lift. The room was "basic". No luxury or super comfortable beds or bathroom. But ok.

“a quiet place "between seasons"”

We were upgraded to a larger room, which was nice, although it was upstairs and we had bicycles to haul. Our room looked right out on the ski mountain (closed for the season) and also on the main street (nothin happening-- too early for summer tourists). We had a fine Italian dinner at Capos and one of us enjoyed a soak in the hot tub. In the morning, the nice lady at Mountain Treasures let us in 15 minutes early to get some (excellent!) coffee and we were gone.

“Close to the lifts”

This property is a little dated, but if you're looking for something within walking distance to the lifts and right in the center of town with shopping, restaurants, etc, this is it.

“Older hotel that could use an update in the rooms”

This is just an older hotel that could use a face lift. The rooms were clean just older and the carpet and so forth was old. The beds were not real comfortable and we had a hard time sleeping. The hotel had an old smell and was the walls were thin. You could hear everyone walking down the hall and all the doors open and shut. However, the staff was so nice and very friendly. The hotel is right across the street from the lift within walking distance. We did not spend much time in our rooms so this was okay. But I would prefer to have stayed at a hotel that was a little newer, with thicker walls, and a comfortable bed.

“Red River ice mountain.”

The no refund policy should clue you in. The mountain was very Icey since it had not snowed but a few inches all month long. Most of the snow on the mountain was man made and very icy. I looked around during the holiday season I noticed a lot off vacant signs at hotels and lodges. The price I paid should have been like a 5 star place, but I got more like a 1 star on an interstate budget saver.
