Nice - near Plaza

On the main road but most of the rooms are away from street noise. Good for the money.

Fantastic Stay!

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: Everything - very charming.
Cons: No.
Location: Located within the nicest and safest part of town.
Absolutely fantastic stay at the El Pueblo Lodge. The staff was very professional, approachable and dedicated to helping create a wonderful stay in Taos for me. Special thanks goes to the woman that runs the breakfast every morning and to Jade at the front desk -- and Tara and Mya too, of course. I am so grateful for the hospitality shown to me during my visit. I would highly recommend this hotel to a friend and I would happily stay at the El Pueblo Lodge again.

Very nice hotel, near shops and restaurants

Posted Jul 17, 2014
We only stayed on night but it was very comfortable with a nice balcony overlooking the courtyard. Within walking distance from shops and dining. The room was large and quiet, and the beds very comfortable. The staff was friendly and the continental breakfast offered many choices. The outdoor area for eating breakfast was lovely as well. The pool and hot tub looked inviting but an evening thunderstorm kept us from enjoying the hot tub. I would definitely stay there again. And I found out that they have several rooms with fireplaces if you ask for them.

This was a nice hotel at a fair price in a good location. Basically what you want when on the road for business. I will definitely stay here again during my next visit to Taos.

Great price-for-value.

Posted Jul 6, 2014
Pros: Very nice lawn-outdoor seating for breakfast. Good price. Very close to town and attractions in Taos.
Cons: Add some hot items for breakfast like scrambled eggs, bacon, etc.
Location: Taos Pueblo. Bent Street in town for shopping. Great New Mexican restaurants!
Probably the best Hotel in Taos for the price. Close to attractions and restaurants, etc.

Nice hotel. Close to old town

Posted Jul 4, 2014
Pros: Proximity to downtown and charm
Cons: More options at breakfast
Location: Old town Taos
Nice hotel. Walked I to room and was taken back with the charm that we immediately felt. We walked to the old town part of Taos which was nice and safe. We received a lot of good advice from woman at the counter. She'd told us of different restaurants and how to get there. We also had enjoyable conversation with woman helper at breakfast
