My stay here was wonderful. When I booked my room, i booked a room with 2 queen beds, when my hita and I got there they were all booked, so managment gave us 2 king size suites. It was great.

The room was clean and the price was fair. Within walking distance to downtown Taos.

The location was convenient to surrounding sights going all directions. Delightful first impression. The afternoon check-in attendant was very pleasant and helpful. The morning counter attendant could have been more attentive. She seemed more interested in what was she was doing on the computer than assisting us. We had to repeat our request more than once to get the service we were requesting and she finally complied. The request appeared to be an annoyance to her though. Overall, we would recommend Indian Hills Inn Taos Plaza and we would book a return stay.

this is an older hotel/motel but it is situated convenient to old town...one can walk rather than drive. it is relatively quiet and clean. my room very comfortable (though my friends' room was too warm)...i was there to ski and not pay a fortune for a place to sleep. it is also dog friendly which is most important to me. this is my second stay there...this time i selected a king instead...the room away from the street and quiet. i wills tay there again when i return to ski in taos...

The staff is very friendly. The room was clean and you can't beat the location. The setting is beautiful.

“Great for Explorers”

I really enjoyed my stay at the Indian Hills Inn. I booked it without seeing it so wasn't sure what to expect. Daniel at the front desk was a peach, whipped out a map and marked out hiking trails and rock shops for me. Very personable. It is a great location if you want to explore the Taos area, go shopping, driving around, hiking, and then have a convenient place to return to. I prefer to spend more on activities and less on lodging so this worked out perfect for me. Met several other travelers that had been staying there and Daniel had also given them locations for things they wanted to do while they were in town. Heater and shower working fine - cool adobe construction - quiet for sleeping.

It's obviously an older motel, but has been kept up well. The staff is friendly and helpful.

good value regarding its location... Everything was good and comfortable. Breakfast is horrible though.
