“Great Taos Experience”

My bed and room were comfortable. It's an older motel, but it's a classic. I thoroughly enjoyed the meals there, the Kachina Dancers/presentation, and my entire stay. It was also a good starting and ending point for a walk around the classic downtown Taos. I look forward to staying there again!

“good deal for the money”

It's conveniently located. They put us in the back area to avoid road noise--Taos seems to get a lot of bikers with the need to have noisy engines. Breakfast is included and while not 4 star food, the ladies in the cafe are pleasant, friendly and chatty--like everyone we met in Taos. Fruit really should be added to the breakfast. The only nuisance we had were the people in the room above us, heavy walkers at all hours of the night--but I believe part of the problem is wooden flooring under the carpeting. Overall, it was worth the money spent and I would consider taking my family back there when the pool is open and the weather a little warmer.

“Beautiful place, beautiful people”

We found this Hotel, lovely to stay at. Some room maintenance needs to be done, but overall the rooms were clean, comfortable, and very nice. The people were very friendly and we enjoyed our stay.

“Perfect place to stay in Taos”

Great old hotel - well maintained - good location - good food - ask for accomidations in the Casitas Sandia as they have been remodeled and are close to the center of the hotel w/ good access to the pool and the Indian dance ring.

“Everything you need!”

We have stayed in Taos and leased houses before, but this was a last minute trip to the slopes. we arrived late. Our room was ready and warm when we a got there after we unpacked we received a call to make sure there wasn't anything they could get for us. I thought that was really nice. we were traveling with our 2 young daughters and the room was plenty large enough. the bathroom area was large also. the beds were not great but I have slept in worse. the room was very clean but you could tell it was an older motel. we got up the next morning and were told that the breakfast was 1/2 price as opposed to free as it was advertised online, but afterwards we were glad. most "free breakfasts" included juice and a muffin. this was a full buffet hot breakfast! It was worth the $4! Great coffee too. Everyone was very nice and helpful. If you want a trip to ski and need a affordable, clean, comfortable place with friendly peple I would recommend this place.

“Pretty good deal”

Fairly inexpensive, free breakfasts (not just bagels and coffee), free glass of wine in the evening, and pretty big rooms. Tough to beat!

“Nice hotel for skiers”

This hotel was reasonably priced, has an informal but friendly and artsy (South West furniture and decor) atmosphere that would suit the needs of skiers, and convenient location. In the evening it often has entertainment. The free American breakfast was very nice, with choice of at least 5 or 6 combinations. Mattresses not overly soft, but for me just fine. Wireless internet worked great.

“Great location”

Great location if you want to ski Taos Ski Valley. Right end of town saves you traffic jams in the morning and evening. Not the most modern hotel, but good facilities, good food and friendly staff.
