convenient hotel, not close to the centerPosted Nov 26, 2014
Pros: room was okay, beds are good
Cons: pool and hottub, very noisy outside lamps
Location: not a good choice if you want to walk to the center of Taos
it's an old hotel, some parts in disrepair (pool) or too dirty to try (hottub). The room was okay, the beds were fine but the outside lamp that lights the parking lot made an awful noise. Kept us awake all night.

One night stay but didn't meet expectationsPosted Nov 1, 2014
Pros: The staff is very nice. Sit down breakfast was quite good. Good location.
Cons: Standard sized pillows. A renovation or replacement of the spa/hot tub. Definitely has an outdated feel about it.
Location: Fine location, near enough to the plaza.
This was fine for one night stay but I was very dissappointed to see the hotel was using 16" X 16" pillows on the beds. The bed itself was comfortable but the pillows...a very bad idea. We were looking forward to a good soak in the hot tub. But the spa was very old and had seen better days. The lining was damaged and the room itself was not appealing. Didn't want to go in.

Cons: Clean the rooms and bathrooms!
Location: Everything shuts down at 8:00 pm in Taos
The bathroom was dirty. Shower walls were filthy and the water would not drain after my shower. We called front desk and they sent someone to repair the situation. (poured a liquid down the drain) My husband took his shower and the same thing happened. Tub wound not drain. We went to breakfast and came back to room and the water was still in the tub!! Never again will I stay at this hotel.

Great older propertyPosted Oct 13, 2014
Very well maintained older property, some would call it retro while most would say dated, great staff very clean with decent beds and a limited menu hot breakfast. Would return to this hotel and also recommend to anyone looking for a clean property at an affordable price.

Not a resort but accptablePosted Oct 12, 2014
Older hotel but a good price for Taos. When most hotels were booked solid during the Wool Festival we were glad to get a room. Not fancy but it worked fine and the room was clean. Great hot breakfast served by waitress on white table clothes, although there was a wait to get a table. Will stay here again.

Very nice stay in beautiful Taos.Posted Oct 4, 2014
Pros: Quiet room.
Cons: Need elecrtical outlets!! Would prefer not to have "free" breakfast in restaurant where we have to tip the server and it takes a bit longer.
Very quiet room even though we were at the top of the stairs to the lobby, and hotel was full both nights. Nice room, everything in good condition. One problem --- only electrical outlet was one next to the sink. Nothing else was accessible. Hard to recharge ipad, cell phones, camera batteries, etc.

NicePosted Sep 28, 2014
Location: Beautiful mountain area
The room was clean but a little outdated. We were in Taos, NM and had a terrible view of the roof, nothing else. I guess we should've asked for a view of the beautiful area.
