Loved the old historic feel. Over all was pretty nice. Only complaint about room was the one light switch for bathroom and infront of bathroom sink. Made it hard for going to the bathroom in the middle of the night and not waking my husband up as I could not see or turn the light on as it would of shined in his face. Coffee pot was dirty and did not brew hot coffee. Did not get told where dining area was so we assumed the dining area was where the bar was. Loved the music but was TOO loud for dining. We discovered the dining room after our dinner in bar which was a bit stressful due to the loudness of music. Waitress was nice but seemed very unexperienced and overwhelmed. Not the worst experience I would go back.

The room was run down very old . We stayed at the sagebrush before and we had a room that was nice . This room they gave me was terrible. The coffee pot was dirty I had to clean it before I can use it . The bathroom was nasty. It was a horrible night .

It's a good place to stay when you are up in Taos. The propery could use some renovations. It's starting to look worn. I noticed the lights in the bar needed some dusting. Food quality was okay. Waitstaff and bartender were great. I could hear the person staying above us walking around all evening.

The place is terribly old and dirty. We moved the bed and besides tons of dust we found some used needles from a junkie ..! You can tell they don’t clean the rooms properly. The staff is basically absent ! You’re totally on your own! We cleaned the pool ourselves and housekeeping is only on request .. for the same price there are plenty of options .. don’t go for this one !

We stayed at Sagebrush Inn for a youth hockey tournament. Everyone was very kind and attentive. We had an executive suite, and while the room was outdated, it was a nice big room. Great stay overall.

Good location if you are driving to different places. Short drive to Taos Plaza, restaurants, grocery stores. Rooms are comfortable and clean.

Paige at the front desk was extremely helpful when I messed up my Expedia booking. I also liked the hot tub and restaurant attached to the hotel, overall a great place to stay!

Large room with a working fireplace. Close to the town of Taos with great restaurants and about 30 minutes from Taos Ski Valley. Restaurant food was very good and great service. We were very happy with our stay here and the skiing at Taos.

The location was good and the property was quiet and had easy parking. However, the listing online stated the room could sleep up to 6 people so we booked the room for 5 people. The room fits max 4 people. There were only 2 queen beds upon which the front office told us that 3 people were to fit in a queen bed. We thankfully were able to get a cot for our 5th person. We were told upon arrival that we could request housekeeping any day . The second day we were there we called for housekeeping to clean the room as we had a lot of trash and needed new towels and toilet paper. We were gone all day and arrived back to find housekeeping never came. We then called for towels and toilet paper at least and still no one come. We had to walk to front desk to get toilet paper. We then called for housekeeping the next day and when we arrived back still they never came. Our room was overflowing with trash, we had no towels and no toilet paper. The hot tub was also broken for 2 out of the 4 days we were there. Otherwise we felt we were in a safe location and the property was a convenient location for our skiing at angel fire.

There’s a definite charm to this historic property that there’s been effort to maintain. However, the room decor and bathroom fixtures have lost that charm and do not function well. The owners should upgrade the bathrooms and replace those dark carpets. There are nice amenities here, but Sagebrush is overpriced as far as room comfort.

Check in time was 4pm but room wasn’t ready until 4:15pm. Wi-Fi didn’t work. Stayed for 3 nights but room supplies were only provided for 1 day when they don’t offer any housekeeping. I called in advance to see if my room would have a sofa/sofabed in addition to 1 king and 1 queen. The male rep said yes. When I get there, there was no sofa/sofabed. Disappointed.

It has some great potential and character but could really really use a deep clean. Some of the microwaves were so old and broken that it would take 5 minutes to heat up something that should take 30 seconds. Lots of hair found upon arrival and tons of dirt and crumbs when I moved some furniture around tools in electronics. Beds were actually not terribly uncomfortable but the lack of cleanliness made it almost unbearable. We left a day early to star in a different hotel

The room was large and the bed was comfy but it just wasn’t cleaned and they only cleaned once when we complained that it wasn’t cleaned when we arrived. Light bulbs were out when we got there and the curtains had stains. Also the cable in the bedroom never worked and WiFi was spotty. I’ll end on a positive they have great breakfast burritos.

Old Sante Fe style decor, good room size and fireplace was a plus, 1 bundle of wood per day made it cozy and romantic. Cons if you want all the new/modern perks it may not be for you.

Fine, although our room had coats of two different dogs…. White on the floor, black in the Murphy bed which wasn’t made. Probably a really cool hotel of yesteryear although the Hampton across the street may be better for current times?!?

It was extremely noisy. There weren't that many people staying there but they choose to put people in the room directly above us. The floor above creaked loudly any time they moved upstairs. Our room was really old and the bathroom door was partially off the hinge. We had to ask for towels and pillows. They did not clean the room the entire stay. There was a phone in the room, it did not work. The room itself was very dated and in need of repairs and a definite refresh. The restaurant was not very good. Very small portions. My loaded baked potato was burned, not just a little burned. We asked if we could move or make other arrangements. And were told we should have asked for an upgrade upon arrival. How would we have known upon arrival that the room was super old and the floors were so danged creaky? It wasn't a great experience overall. I would not recommend Sagebrush to anyone.

Sagebrush Inn is a unique and charming property, however in need of some updates. The stairwell to my room was old and decaying, but it seems updates were being made to other areas, so maybe this will continue. The property appears well maintained and clean, but is in an area of town that is not.

Quaint but in need of updates. The room was large and the bed was comfortable, but the bathroom toilet was loose and the tub didn’t drain well while showering. The water ran hot and cold while showering as well. Loved the live music in the bar area every evening.

The Santa Fe style, the rustic construction, and commodities. Something I didn't like was the sound the air conditioning produces , it is too loud.

The staff was very nice but the rooms need some basic maintenance done. The entry door to the room and to the balcony but needed weather stripping. Daylight and cold in coming in is not good. Their snow removal was not very good. There was a one shovel width path one the 2nd story walkway. Snow was piled up against the door which then got tracked into the room. The stairs to the 2nd story where not cleared very well at all. there appeared to be plenty of 1st floor rooms available so I am not sure why they even had people in the 2nd floor rooms. There were numerous other little things in the room that needed attention.
