Close to everything

The rooms were very clean and spacious. When we arrived the grandparent's room was on the other side of the hotel. The staff at the Sagebrush Inn were so nice and switched the rooms so that we could all be close by. We highly recommend this hotel for families.

A beautiful place to stay.

Pros: The huge log beam ceilings, the fire place and the pretty courtyards made it an enchanting place to stay.
Cons: The bathtub-shower could use updating.
Location: Conveniently located on the main highway through Taos. Many museums, historic churches,& dining at NM culinary treasures featuring red or green chile
We chose this hotel suite because of the pictures listed. We were looking for a quiet, warm and cozy place to get away for a couple of days. We were very pleased with it the moment we arrived. The Southwest Pueblo style building has a great history having been built in the 1930's. It was used as a boy's school during WW II and also a place where Georgia O'Keeffe once spent several months according to their in room information book. We chose the junior suite so that we would have ample room to relax .The kiva wood burning fire place was fantastic on those chilly evenings and snowy morning. The delicious free breakfast buffet was better than we expected. We will go back again!

Nice atmosphere. Pretty court yard.

Over all a fun experience. Lots to do in Taos. Several good places to eat. Lots to see. Hotel showed rooms with fire places on web page, thought we'd get one but didn't when we arrived. Stayed almost a week at one point had neighbors slamming doors at all hours. Hotel apologized. Staff were all nice.

skiing at Taos

Posted Feb 20, 2015
Pros: upgraded room, hot tub
Affordable hotel, close to town of Taos, 45 minutes from TSV. Upgraded our room upon arrival to a suite. Perfect for two of us to spread out. Hot tub was great after a day of skiing. Breakfast was OK, better than most continental but not as good as made to order.

Pros: Breakfast buffet every morning saved me a ton of money.Still cannot believe we all ate that Awesome for free (To the staff of Sagebrush I thank you)
Cons: Adding some parking spaces
Location: Close to everything
Good as it gets , the breakfast buffet was my favorite thing in the morning. The green chillie was some of the best I've had . Will come back and stay again if they dont change anything !!!!

Great older hotel with many Amenities

Posted Feb 2, 2015
Pros: All the amenties!
Cons: Perhaps easier access to some of the Hot Tubs. Ours closed at 9 and with two other hot tubs on property we could not get in with out a separate key.
Location: This is a perfect location for any of those who have been on the mountain all day and want easy access to get back to ABQ in the AM.
Sagebrush is out to please. They offer many wonderful amenities to your stay and the price is just right. The hotel is a bit older, but well kept and spacious. We were very pleased with the staff and all the kindness's they offered. Don't miss the Hot to serve breakfast in the AM the wait staff will make anyone's morning a good morning. Thanks Sagebrush.
