Perfect for usPosted Nov 20, 2013
The room was large with a nice sitting area. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a nice surprise. Made to order breakfast serve by a waitress that was singing in Spanish with the radio.

Disappointing to say the least.Posted Oct 31, 2013
Pros: The staff was very helpful The shower water was hot.
Cons: Needs a lot of updating. Toiletries are obviously the least expensive the management can obtain.
Location: Lots of sights to see in and around town. The Taos Pueblo was very intersecting. Stop by the Taos visitors center for recommended sights to see.
Dated is an understatement, staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Executive suite was a waste of money. Worn carpeting, doors that didn't close or seal properly, stuck by a nail on a chair that was falling apart, poor repairs to tile in both baths, hair dryer that would not stay on, noisy first floor, two window units for heating and cooling both very noisy, wood work that had been abused and not refurbished, don't waste your money on the breakfast. Eggs were OK, bacon tasted like it had been left in grease for hours!, extremely limited selections and no changes or substitutions. Did I mention that the staff was helpful and pleasant but the issues I referenced couldn't be corrected by the staff. Management needs to spend some money on updating before I'd return or recommend.

Motel with character but showing it's age.Posted Oct 30, 2013
A special place if you like to like places with a history. Beautiful artwork with many stories behind them. The grounds are really peaceful and staff kind natured and helpful.

Beautiful, Spanish-style hotel south end of townPosted Oct 29, 2013
Pros: Everything: beautifully decorated room, excellent continental breakfast
Location: Old Town Taos, Angel Fire ski area and Vietnam War Memorial, Red River recreation area, Rio Grande Gorge Bridge, white water rafting
Stayed here 2 nights and received a free room upgrade to a Premier Room. Room was beautiful, with Spanish motif: tiled surfaces, heavy furniture, fireplace, small patio, 40-inch flat screen TV, microwave and frig. One of the nicest rooms I have ever had, and the "continental" breakfast was a sit-down affair with service by waitresses. The facility has a very large convention center, as well as restaurant and bar. Would definitely stay here again!

Pros: Free full breakfast and free wifi.
Cons: Heating was odd -- very noisy heaters made the room too hot if on, too cold if off.
Location: Many may outdoor attractions, shopping areas, etc.

Nice place to begin our visit to TaosPosted Oct 18, 2013
Pros: the room was beautiful, staff was great and very prompt with any request we had (firewood, etc) and it had a great restaurant right there!
Cons: I don't think anything could have been improved...we loved it all
Location: location was good...close to downtown, but not so close as to have excess noise or hinder our view of the mountains. Downtown Taos is fabulous.
Altho, because Steve has a problem walking, the room was a little far from where we parked, everything was beautiful , especially for the price.... TWO BATHROOMS!! I thought I was in heaven! lol... and the free breakfast was fabulous...usually we never take advantage of any hotels "fre" breakfast (it usually is a few things in stay-warm bins...ugh)but we had breakfast every morning we were there and it was wonderful
