Quiet, beautiful setting, excellent breakfast, close to town yet seems far away.

“Excellent B&B”

Very quiet and peaceful but not to far from the center of town. The owner is very gracious and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious combination of fruits, cereals and a different hot dish each morning. I highly recommend Taos Country Inn.

“Taos Country Inn: Special in SO Many Ways!”

If you like to be warm in the mountains of Taos, New Mexico, our room was toasty and comfortable, AND clean; this B&B is well off the beaten track and if you're looking to leave a hectic city or suburban lifestyle behind, this is the place! Perhaps the most outstanding aspect of our stay is Yolanda, who is the owner of the Taos Country Inn. She was as kind and welcoming as family. She knows the area well and has a map available with restaurants and shopping nearby, as well as directions to Chimayo. Yolanda's breakfast spread is lovely, with several different selections to choose from—how nice to have the cook serve and chat with you--made from scratch: delicious! We so enjoyed our visit in every way, and hated to leave. Many others feel the same: read the comments in her guest book. Remember, too, if you are not used to staying in a Bed and Breakfast, this is Yolanda's home that she opens to guests. The dining and living areas that are accessible to her guests are cozy and comfy. We were delighted to have had the chance to meet Yolanda, and greatly enjoyed her warm hospitality.

“Heaven On Earth”

If your travel plan take you to Taos, The Taos Country Inn is a must. The Innkeeper, Yolanda, is a warm, vivacious woman who you will come to love. She makes the most delicious breakfasts and will tell you all the best places to go for day trips and for dinner. She was raised in Taos, so she knows all the local hot spots. She is a wonderful woman. A few days after checkout, I realized I left a textbook in my room. I called her, she looked for it while on the phone with me, and then promptly mailed it free of charge. The Inn itself is beautiful and relaxing with southwestern decor. There is a spacious living room to relax and read in with a fireplace and amazing views. The view outside our bedroom was breathtaking. I walked outside every morning with my fresh cup of coffee and all I saw were mountains and horses. It was a gorgeous view...so peaceful. Our bedroom was very large, decorated beautifully and very comfortable. We slept really well. I can't recommend this Inn highly enough. It was one of the best vacations I have ever taken. Thank you Yolanda! We will be back.

“Charming spot in Taos”

The Taos Country Inn is a terrific small bed-and breakfast spot. The owner and operator, Yolanda, has lived in Taos all her life and can offer great advice on any matter of interest to a touring couple. She knows restaurants, museums, hikes, tour routes and more. Her service is most friendly, her house beautifully decorated with New Mexico pottery, paintings and other artifacts, and her breakfasts met every need from fat-free tofull eggs plus. And the hummingbirds at feeders near her entry provided constant entertainment. We would return there in a minute.

“Quiet stay in peaceful rural setting”

very good place to stay. Yolanbda is wonderful, beautiful but not fancy grounds and hacienda. Good big rooms with lots of space. Great breakfast. Will stay here again.
